We were on the Edge last month and we had to use the computers at guest relations to fill out our forms as doing it on our phone didn't recognize arriving by ship. The Edge was being trialed to do this on line.

Could someone please tell me how long roughly it takes to go through customs & immigration at Auckland pier. Trying to work out a good departure time.

Yes it is very close, bus no 29 to airport costs $4.pp one way & $59 for entry to Antarctic centre. All in NZ dollars so will need some cash for bus fare.

I live in Christchurch , the bus that goes to the airport is what you need, Antarctic Centre is out near the airport. Certainly won't cost that much. Actually if you ask bus driver they will tell when to get off . Bus runs every 30 min from bus interchange. Hope this helps.

The Edge does go to Wellington , we are on the Sydney to Auckland cruise February 4th and it definitely goes to Wellington.
