Thank you Mikesa1721. Now I'm getting really excited! BTW you are about 45 minutes from where I live. How are you doing on finding reasonable airfare to Orlando? Jet Blue is very high.
We still have family on the West coast of Florida so we fly Southwest into Fort Myers and then drive across Alligator Alley to Miami. I've gotten flights one way for 135.00 from TF Green International.:D

Miksa1721, we are also sailing the Seaside on the 21st. See you in the lounge!
IMHO, Yacht Club is the only way to survive MSC. Even then the food is so-so.
We are sailing with a very large group put together by our TA who almost sold the entire Yacht Club out himself,,,should be a great time!!!:D

Sorry for bring up this semi old thread. But that Con
"don't get to drive through the tunnel to get onto the island" has me confused.
The last time we drove to the Port of Miami we DID go through the tunnel. Is Divina parked somewhere where it's preferable not to use the tunnel?:confused:
Divina is docked at terminal "F",,we've taken the tunnel twice now to get to the Port Of Miami when we come from I-95, and we park in the covered parking garage across from terminal "G".:)

Booked through my favorite T/A. I will await the email. Just wondered the tag RCCL/Celebrity & Carnival. Hope they are similar in size to one or the other . Thanks Mike :D
We've sailed Carnival in the past and purchased the large tag holders from CC. The MSC tags will fit into those holders perfectly,,:)

Did my online "stuff" for our October Divina cruise. (1st MSC Cruise) I didn't see anything about luggage tags. Can I print them online or do they mail them. Did I miss something ? :D
You'll receive an e-mail either through your TA or from MSC directly depending on how you booked containing your boarding documents which includes your luggage tags. Usually you should receive them 2-3 weeks before your sailing,,:D

Doh ............... that's what happens when one only half-reads the posts :o Focus is elsewhere, tonight
I think we've all done it from time to time Bea!!:D
-
Starboard surely, Mike
11003 is on the port side Bea,,that was an old pic from a passenger who wanted to know the same thing but booked 11002. I just used the same pic to show the forward staterooms,,,:D

I'm dying to find a true rendering of the Grand Suite #11003 to see how big the Balcony will be. Will it have a forward wrap-around?
Looking at the model which I pointed out for a passenger sailing in 11002,,it looks like you will have an ocean view forward and a balcony on the port side of the ship,,,

Yep, Mike, I have ................ Preziosa from Santos, Brazil to Genoa, Italy in March 2015 :) I also brought Divina back to you last October :p (not quite South America but South in America haha)
I know American citizens need a visa to visit Brazil,,did you require one as well??
-
Cheers, Mike ;) ................ I'd zero interest in Seaview's Med itinerary but a TA would certainly float my boat :D
You've sailed a TA to or from South America before haven't you Bea??;)

Thank you Mike. Do you know if there will be a second ship out of Miami? Maybe one of the new World ships?
For now, we know that MSC Seaside and MSC Divina will be sailing from the Port Of Miami. MSC Divina will be there seasonally once Seaside arrives. I would have to think that if MSC were to send another ship to North America, it would be sent to a Northern port like New york,,but this is all just wishful thinking at this point!! :D

MSC Cruises is making deployment moves with its fleet of upcoming new ships.
The MSC Seaview, which is set to be delivered from Fincantieri in 2018, will spend her inaugural summer season in the Mediterranean before a surprising deployment move sends her to South America for winter 2018-2019, according to a report in The Medi Telegraph.

I think there are a couple of members who have sailed on Armonia,,I'm sure one of them will be able to help out with your questions. I've checked the roll call boards for your sailing but didn't find a thread so I guess you're sailing all by yourself!!:D:D

Anyone on this cruise from Genoa? we have been on many cruises and had many wonderful experiences by booking private van to see around islands, can visit all the sights in one go at quarter of the price- even the evening show in Majorca, can catch taxi together for total 40Euro for show instead of $102pp- half price. Also fun to meet new adventurous friends- we are a young middle aged couple, good sense of humour, fit and ready to sight see. From Sydney Australia, want to rent car after cruise to look around.
Funloving,,,which ship??:)
-
Mike ... So we are decided that the photo is Deck 8 to 12 with the balcony being that of Deck 9, while those above are yet to have the side balcony added.
Yes sir!!! Aft staterooms of deck 9 -10 and 11!!:D

Good Afternoon!
We purchased non alcoholic drink vouchers on the MSC USA website.
When, and how do we receive the vouchers? At check in?
Once you board the ship you will need to pick up your voucher booklets at the Casino Veneziano on deck 6. :D
-
Yay Mafig!!! That was quite the drawn out process,,,the hard part is done,,now go and have a great trip and enjoy yourself!!:D:D
-
Cannot decide if the second balcony up is Deck 9, mainly due to the first one up being offset from the rest.
That has to be the deck 12-15 section Sid. Looking at how Fincantieri has been assembling blocks, the staterooms on deck 9-11 are loaded on first (3 decks) and then decks 12-15 on top (4 decks).

MSC Cruises USA just released a new promotion where you can win one:http://www.mscpromotions.com/lego.html

Thanks for the info. Makes perfect sense--just opposite of the American way, I guess. For the most part, we preferred it this way. Worked perfectly at the inside bars when servers would approach you soon after you take a seat, but then leave you alone unless you gave them some sign to approach. At the outside pools, however, there was rarely anyone to even ask for something if you needed it. I would imagine some loyal to Carnival or RC might find this a drawback if they like being waited on outside.
Yes,,,I think this is where the bad reviews relating to service come from. If you were to sit near the Garden Bar,,there are always servers walking around the seating area ready to take your drink order. It is unfortunate that there isn't another bar on the starboard aft side of MSC Divina.

So MSC has a list of private operators ? Or its same operator for group excursions offered for rest of ship , just charge you for full bus ?
The excursions are custom designed to meet the needs of the guests requesting them. For example,,,a helicopter ride to a deserted island for the day.:D
