I have a 7 day cruise booked for April
But my wife and I needed a quick getaway (running low on vacation time). I booked a 4 day cruise on the Sensation today. I did a 3 day last year and I was not impressed mostly with the other passengers to be honest. Seemed to be a lot of bachelor parties ECt. I'm hoping the 4 day is a bit more relaxed. I see lots of complaints on the board about this ship. Any recent cruisers from the 4 day run? How was it? Either way we'll have a blast. The ship was clean and staff great last year .

We receive offers regularly usually 45%-55% off and some casino cash. Both my wife and I play about $100 a day each but if we win we play longer of course.

Just booked my first Conquest Class ship. I've read you can't walk front to back on the floors with the dining rooms/galley. Upon looking at the deck plans I see frayed out areas but exterior promenades on those decks. Can I access the back from the front by walking outside?
Thanks everyone

Hi Everyone,
Just booked a 4J on Carnival Glory (6202). Any thoughts on them? I was in French Door cabin on the Legend last year I really like booking these unique cabins priced as interiors but unsure about these.
Pictures would be great too if anyone has them.
Also would anyone know formal nights? It's an eastern run but itinerary seems odd: HMC, Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas, and then 2 sea says so basically all 4 ports in a row.
Thanks everyone!

I had one on the Sensation. The vibrations were not really noticeable but what I noticed is the windows are kind of recessed into the ship so you can only look strait back. An ocean view room on the side allow you to see more side to side I guess. Hard to explain but I wouldn't book it again.

I haven't been on the Ecstasy but I have been on the Fantasy and the Sensation which I think was built in 1993. I would say the Fantasy is in much better shape. Sensation was just so purple!
When Carnival transferred the Holiday class the oldest went last. I would think they would sell/transfer paradise/elation first since they don't have the upgrades the other 6 do. Just my opinion though

I was in 4148 (same room on the legend just other side of ship). You are between two life boats. View is great and the fresh air is wonderful. We used the stool to prop the door open and take a nap each afternoon.

We had 4148 on the legend. It was a great cabin we were between life boats. 4140 is great too (I walked by during embarkation).

I saw Studio VIP, Motor City and Epic Rock on the Legend all of which I thought were an improvement to the regular shows on the Fantasy/Sensation. I actually enjoyed the shows!

Bonsai sushi and green thunder! We had late seating for dinner and bonsai was perfect for a snack after port or day in the sun. We'd get a roll to split.

We had FTTF and the cake I ordered wasn't there when we first went to our room but we came back right before Muster and it was.

Lunch hours were limited if I recall like 11:30-2 maybe. Dinner was open 5:00-midnight daily. We would stop by at 5 and get a pre dinner roll. A roll made a perfect snack a long with the complimentary edamame. We usually spent $4-6.

Got a call earlier offering an extended balcony for $342 on deck 8. I thought about it but I decided to stay in my 4k.

We found it cheaper to book the hotel and parking separately. Specifically we used the parking doctors ($60 for a week cruise) and the double tree.

Thank you! I will definitely report back on it. The pictures certainly looked good :)

Glad to hear about the luck at the casino. We booked under a casino promotion and spent a good amount of time there each evening!
