Were there any problems booking the Chefs Table / Manfredis and/or excursions when you sailed either before cruise or once onboard?

Geoff and others following this thread - If you had to choose between Watsons Bay and Manly which would you choose given time constraints. Not sure we would actually spend time at the beach, mostly walking around, going to shops, taking in sights, walking along ocean on walkway/path. Thoughts? Thank you

Understand there is a ferry that runs from Watsons Bay to Manly Beach but only on weekends? Would like to know if that is correct, or would you have to take a ferry to Circular Quay and then pick up a different ferry to Manly Beach? Thank you

Thank you so much for your response, this was very helpful. We have been on a number of ocean cruises and 3 river cruises but this is our first venture with Viking so this helps greatly.

Thank you, when you said "Filling your cart for the entire itinerary's excursions could cause you to miss out as others book the ones you want" did that mean that if we booked a paid excursion in each port ahead of the cruise we might limit ourselves by only getting some of the excursions and not others? Thank you for any clarification. As we are booked in a Deluxe Veranda 4 category I believe we can book excursion either 60 or 64 days out from the cruise date. Thanks again

Great review and photos. We are booked on Viking Mars Sydney to Auckland Feb. 2023, my wife and I plus our friends have similar interests that you guys have and like you always take time to visit historically significant Jewish sites whenever we travel. Thanks for sharing, glad you had a good trip!

Were you able to get into all specialty dining restaurants and excursions you wanted. Reading other posts seems that Viking get booked in both of these areas with higher category cabins. Thanks
