In these uncertain times I’ll keep my cash in my account and not Carnival’s. Who’s to say what’s coming down the pike. If they belly up (file for bankruptcy) your money disappears

This pretty much sums it up. Not everyone is interested in a fancy meal while cruising. Many people enjoy specialty restaurants while cruising and they are a huge part of their cruising experience. Other people are fine with quicker options. The same goes for other aspects of cruising. Some people desire balconies and suites and others are content with inside cabins.
My husband and I cruise to relax and have fun. He likes Guy's burgers and the toppings and I really like the food at Blue Iguana. We both like the deli. We aren't interested in upscale dining or spending 1 1/2 hours on a meal while cruising. Vacationing is different for everyone. I know some people are surprised that not everyone seeks the same experience that they do.That pretty much sums myself up right there. Eight cruises and only been to the MDR three times (two times I was forced). I’m just not into spending all that time on a meal when it’s basically the same food at the buffet. To each there own.

Not to be rude, but how does this comment add any value to the conversation?
Your right, your comment does come across as rude. The question of what ship I will be on was asked in a prior post. Thank you for the effort of your snarky remark. Try a Snickers bar.

I’ll be on the Pride. Sailed a few times on her in the past, just never paid attention to the scooter use.

I’ve reached the point where I can no longer handle the walking involved with cruising. I was ready to give it up until the wife talked me into a scooter. I spend a lot of time in the casino on board. My question to those that used scooters is do you somehow maneuver up to the slots or is there some place you can park while in the casino? Found out the cruise I booked is a premier and know the casino can get awful crowded.

The little purple pill "Nexium" will take care of the acid reflux. Best pill ever.

I always get travel insurance through insuremytrip, won't sail without a policy. While surfing Barclays site I saw where if you book your trip using your Carnival MasterCard that they provide a policy included. Has anyone relied on this for thier travel insurance needs? I'm on the fence and would hate a surprise if it were ever needed.

Pack a soft sided cooler in your checked luggage and have your cabin steward fill it every day.
-
I'd mind my own business

Get there when you want. You board after Weddings, Diamonds and Platinums with the FTTF.

I thought it was bad luck to rename ships.
It's doable.......think you have to sacrifice a bottle of bubbly to Poseidon 😉

And you should have access to your cabin as soon as you board.
Premier only covers early boarding. Your cabin is not ready unless you have FTTF also.

. When I got to my cabin and I had no ice to go with my $100 bottle, I called room service and they brought me ice. I was in the cabin early with FTTF.You have full access to your cabin upon boarding. You may take a shower, or a nap, or unpack. The only thing I am aware of that you can't do is order from room service. When it becomes available varies throughout the year.

Did a Premier last December, booked through the points I accumulated. The wife and I both had the DOU card waiting in the cabin. Drinks were spaced at every 15 minutes. It's been a few years since we cruised with Carnival. Has this changed? It used to only be the primary person with 1 drink allowed every 30 minutes to prevent you from grabbing one for your SO. Do they give a card to both adults now? Do you still have to earn so many points if you're going on a free casino cruise? -
sorry a bit off topic; but on a Carnival premier casino cruise does premier check-in mean that you can go right to your cabin, like with FTTF?
No, it's just priority boarding, no other FTTF perks

I have just received my first premier offer and have booked it. Am now reading negative reviews based on crowded casino and difficulty finding tables and machines at prime times. The offer states complimentary cocktails while playing. We usually buy beverage packages. Will my partner and cabinmate also get complimentary drinks in the casino? The "all persons in cabin must purchase" will definitely be affected by the answer to this question. Thanks.
Only the two primaries on the booking will receive the "drinks on us card". The casino can get a little crowded at times, but it's not all that bad that you can't enjoy yourself.

Get a vape pen to curb the nicotine craving while in the cabin. It's against the rules to but next to impossible to get caught. It's not smoke, it's a vapor that dissipates quickly with very little to no smell.

I always get a bottle for the cabin. I pack a Big Bubba insulated mug and mix a 3 hour drink.

On the Glory last June, I got tired of asking. I'll never book 4 in a cabin again

I seen a few cigar smokers at the smoking area on the Lido deck. There is a few reel slot machines, but not many.

Good luck finding a 12"x12" cooler. The best I could do was a 12"x13" and was turned away with it. The next time I purchased a soft side cooler that attached to a small hand truck type rig. Packed the cooler part in the checked luggage and used the hand truck rig to carry the 12 packs of soda and the wine. No problems this way the last four cruises.

A couple of other things.
On this cruise the bed was most uncomfortable. I woke up with a stiff neck on day one. .
We were on the Pride the week before and had the same issue. Never had a problem with the bed on any Carnival ship before.

No. I booked a Premier on the last offers go-round and still received this round of offers.

It would be safe to say anything with a element is prohibited
Might need to cancel cruise due to mandated 14 day quarantine by husband’s work...

If you haven’t made final payment get the “cancel for any reason” insurance. I’m in the same boat with work. No way I could take off for three weeks.
