I can't see Cointreau but I don't see why it wouldn't be on here :)

Thanks, I also saw the list and cointreau was not listed on either package. Guess I'll find out when we board the ship.

Oooops, guess I missed it. thank you

  3. the last cruise i went on the porter ACTUALLY SAID...if you want to see your luggage on the ship i would recommend tipping...after that i do not sympathize with these people, is it hard work, sure it is and they have a choice. will i tip them, yes because i dont want to be ghetto blackmailed to not receive my luggage.

If someone said that to me, there is no way they would get a tip. I'd take their picture and say, have a nice day. I don't go along with threats and would not worry about my luggage getting on the ship.

  4. Our recent Allure cruise, a woman had her baby sitting in the shallow end of the pool. I reported it to a pool attendant . She was told of the rules, the pool attendant left, and the woman kept the child in the pool for at least another 15 minutes.

She actually picked the kid up and swished his butt in the water, like she was washing out a piece of clothing.

  5. Don't ever change

I love the older folks , they are our link to the good old politically incorrect days , before everyone got so thin skinned .

I am not talking about mean , rude old bags and SOBs .

Just folks who still talk and use sayings the way they did back in the day.

My Mom is in her 80s and will come out with a gem or two now and then.

Her doctor loves when she comes in and they have a chat . He says it's like spending a few more minutes with his late mom, who was the exact same way. *LOL*

    The greatest generation :)[/quote

    thank you !

  6. I don't understand. You're saying that because you are 70 you can say whatever you want? I am 66 and I definitely know that I can't say whatever I want. Didn't your Mama teach you manners?

Wow, lighten up. I said I said it under my breath. Life is too short to be so rude. Hope you have a better day tomorrow. Happy New Year;)

  7. When you encounter those folks, just remind yourself, you do not have to live with them!

When they attempt to "control" a situation, smile, and irritate the H*** out of them...it will drive them nuts.

When the are rude, ask if their mama forgot to teach them manners.

Belittle those that attempt to rule over you, it feels so good.

LOL I do the same thing. Someone shoots off their mouth in a bad way, I just turn around and say " Hi, it's sure is good to see you again" Blank stare follows.

Of course, under my breath I'm thinking. Ya old bag !!!

(I'm 70 so get to say these things) lol

  8. Hi Dz9yvr,

IF, and I repeat IF Celebrity were to move to a voucher only program, I suspect the Sky Lounge would no longer offer complimentary beverages from 5-7. Unless, the Sky Lounge were to be used for any levels above Elite. I suspect the current rumors are related to the new Captains Club levels. Whenever Celebrity announces the details, things will make more sense.

Andy, if you already have the drink package, will you still get the vouchers?

  9. I am probably one of the few that could care less about this perk but if you read the boards many love it. Second trying to keep the true Elites separated from those low life's like myself who moved over from RCI would be near impossible. Why not just enjoy what you're being given and not worry about others? That's the cruise lines responsibility.

I'm another D+ : We'll be trying out Celebrity for the first time in over 20 years

    Well said cruiseingator2/

  10. We're also doing the Eastern route but this doesn't concern me.

The only problem I would have, I read that if the ship sails slowly, it may be rougher. That kind of doesn't make sense to me, but what do I know about ships!

We've done so many cruises and the motion still bothers me. I now know how to control it so not much of a problem.

Got home from our trip to Oregon to see our son. Had a wonderful time and now it time to get ready for this cruise. wa hoooooo
