Anyone have updates on Breakaway staff?

We just put a luggage tag on the case of water and wrapped some clear packing tape around the case to secure the bottles..anything bottles that were left, we gave to the crew...

Does anyone know when we should receive our luggage tags or hear from the pre- concierge? We are 64 days out from Haven trip and have not received any contact....in the past, we had received a letter or card thanking us for booking a suite and info on how to contact them with requests... Thanks for any info...

Stayed in cabin 5522 on the Gem... Quiet and nice location.... Would definitely choose this ocean view again...

Have stayed in 11522 and 11524... No issues with noise...enjoy!

Also sailed in haven port side #16122, no noise at all....nice access to haven courtyard and lounge...

Have cruised Gem the last three January's. This is a decent price and I would book now and get whatever promos you can... Love escaping the NY cold in January...and the Gem is fantastic!

Same thing was happening to me and I called Ncl. They said this can happen if you are using an iPad or iPhone. Instead I used my laptop and it took the passport expirAtion dates without a problem...

Grand pacific dining room is open for sit down lunch but check closing time- I think it is around 2:30 and O'Sheehans is open - deck 8 up the stairs from the atrium...

When I went on iconcierge to set it up it asked for the names and phone numbers of those traveling with me. I assume so we can text back and forth onboard and just didn't know if "1" had to be added in front of phone number...

I am setting up my contacts in I concierge, when adding phone numbers is it just the ten digit phone number or do you have to add the "1" in front of it?

I got one about 2 years ago... It was legitimate... I made the book and was just charged for shipping and handling...,

Meclizine is available for free at guest services...if feeling queasy, try green apples, crackers and ginger ale and get out in the fresh air. Also just started bringing ginger candies too...

Staying in the Haven and have free UBP for first two people in cabin. There are four of us, my husband and I are listed as one and two... Can I transfer my promo to my son in law in our cabin since I don't drink alcohol?

Sailing again on Breakaway in the Haven but can't remember if we needed to make dinner reservations for Haven restaurant or can we just show up?

The Gem is my favorite ship... Perfect size, fantastic staff and crew,love the Spinnaker lounge and the Great Outdoors. Breakaway is nice and innovative but just don't like the crowds and having to make reservations for the shows. The Haven is a great escape on the larger ships....

From what I recall mini suite on gem had a large closet with a shelf on top. On the wall between room and bathroom, there was about 4 nice size drawers with I think 3 shelves above them. Also there was a few shelves above desk, over by door to balcony. Decent about of storage space. Mini suite also has a bathtub which should be helpful with a toddler.

Since Ncl is severing ties with Nicklodeon...will they have to change kiddie pool in Breakaway to eliminate those characters?

My Ncl log in is showing jan 17 as a 14 day cruise but shows day 11 "at sea" but lists time of 8 am to 5 pm instead of Antigua but if I scroll across the top it shows that day as Basseterre, at kitts....confusing....

I think Carlos usually goes on vacation in July if I'm not mistaken then returns to Gem until mid January ....

Thanks for info. Were in haven inaugaral season but couldnt remember how dinner worked. Do you recommend prebooking specialties with UDP or will concierge do it for us? Prefer to wait til onboard to see our plans for each day but it is sounding like breakawAy concierge not As helpful n friendly as those on the gem. Our previous experience on breakaway she just sat at desk and almost every request we had was answered with a "no" she was not accomodating at all! Hope this experience is different....carlos, pearl and florentina on the gem were superb! Lani was our butler on breakaway went above n beyond n kind of made up for concierge aloofness...

Quick question... If you want to have dinner in Haven restaurant do you have to make a reservation or just show up like breakfast and lunch?
