I spent the night in Dublin last week on the Star. It allowed me to start the 2nd day earlier than the tenders. Yes, it was an extra expense, but worth it to me. Enjoyed the night life also.

Tortola is one of my favorite Caribbean stops. I'd be unhappy.

I like hearing about new ships.

I found the Aloft in May for under 240. It doesn't include breakfast. It's near St. Patrick's.

Sounds pretty good.

Was Ginza open for lunch and dinner?

I'm trying to figure out pick up time for a driver. I'm on the NCL Star in May and wondering about how long it takes to tender to Dun Laoghaire.

Frisbeewife: wouldn't that be a tight schedule to get to Cashel and back on time. Even if you have priority and get the first tender, that puts you at port by 2. Probably the last tender is somewhere between 630 and 7.

Thanks JB. I think I'm taking the only sailing out of Portsmouth from NCL next year.

Has anyone used Aqua cars out of Portsmouth? I'm thinking of using them for Heathrow pick up to get to port for NCL cruise.

I'll be on The Star in May. Im very interested in your take. Enjoy.

ABQrobin: Did you do the full day tour from Cork? How much time did you have in Kinsale?

I hope the dessert tastes as good as it looks.

A buck for 10 cubes. LOL. Could be added to the service menu at any time.

The Court of Two Sisters has a great buffet. They also have some musicians playing at times. Great way to sample News Orleans specialties.

On the NCL site, the port is listed as Dublin (Dun Laoghaire).

We will be on the NCL Star in May. We have an overnight in Dublin.
I'm curious if passengers will be able to go freely during the night on that cruise. It's listed as 9PM on the first night and 7Am is the starting time the next day. Anyone experience a similar itinerary? I'm trying to figure out if it's really an overnight or just a late night and two days worth of Dublin.

Looking forward to following your journey. Enjoy the cruise.

I did a British Isles on Princess. Really enjoyed it and had two days in Dublin.
Overnight in 3 tender ports...any idea how long tenders operate in the evening??

No. I packed a go bag and simply returned the next evening.
