My guess is that it was a "single digit Hussle" :D

I look at a Price Drop as a great bonus. But that is just what it is - a bonus. If I get one, that's awesome - saves me some money, and if I check and never find one - then I booked at a great rate. Either way, I know I will still have a great vacation.

I am also a big fan of the steel drum calypso music. I have gone as far as to download a bunch of it and bring a portable speaker to play in our cabin and on our balcony for DW and I to enjoy:)

Ecstacy in 2011 - actually not a great cruise (bad service topped with heavy waves) but still had fun :)

I'm lovin' the review so far, and your pictures are great. We will be on the Dream in July and am really looking forward to it.

We want to do the steakhouse also, if we can get away from the kids to do it. Not paying $30 for them!
Yeah, my kids would totally not appreciate the steakhouse experience, nor would they be interested in staying put for that long. :D

Great question... My DW and I will be sailing on her in July and it will be our first big ship cruise as well. The Steakhouse is one thing our "must do" list so far. I'll be interested to others responses as well.

If you aren't expecting to get to the port any earlier than 12:00 and there are no tenders then I guess the only real benefit would be in the debark. So then the question is are you flying out early enough that the priority debark makes a difference? If no, then I would say a waste of money.

Moving the Magic actually sounds resonable. With the Dream coming to NOLA, it doesn't make much sense to keep both the Dream and Magic here and not have one of them in Florida. It would be nice to get a different ship here in Texas. My DW and I prefer not to fly to get to our cruises (she hates to fly....) and so having another ship choice local would be nice.

Maybe I'm looking at this menu wrong...but I only see a couple of selections out of the apps that are "for the table". I don't see that as any different at chips and salsa or a bread basket at any land based restaurant.
I am actually really encouraged by these menu changes. I like seeing the "port of call" menu selections. I think that is a really great way for people to try something a little more local without going way out of their comfort zone. If they want, they can order on of the port of call entrees to try and still order something they are more comfortable with, just in case.
I'm heading out on the Dream in July and I'm hoping that the new menus are rolled out on her by then. My only problem will be figuring out which great looking dish to order.

What kind of incentives are available if you book your next cruise on board at the future cruise desk? I've never actually stopped at the desk on any of my past cruises and am considering it on my next if there are good incentives.

Can anybody tell me what the tour cost is? I have always wanted to go "behind the scenes" but never had the chance.
Bringing Soda Onbaord from Port
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Ok, I'm sure this has been asked already but I couldn't find it so I'll ask again.
Can you bring an additional 12 pack of soda onboard from port?. Our first stop is Key West and our intention is to bring a little more onboard.
Thanks for the help...
