Meant to add have a wonderful cruise everyone.

I assume it is Vicky Van Tassel who is an American CD very good at her job who was mentored by the wonderful Colin Brown.
Vicky left Silversea for Viking so if it is the same Vicky she has been enticed back.

Sorry Reef Knot I read your comment after watching some Sports News where England dominated the coverage and hardly a mention of Scotland and Wales.
Lincslady totally agree with you the last time I called BA about cancelling a flight I got someone with a strong accent and all I will say is it was not a British accent and I had huge problems understanding them.
Apologies for me being over sensitive.

Thank you everyone I love listening to all accents and agree some are easy to understand than others. The point I was trying to make is not all Scottish accents are foreign.
Fletcher like all of the UK our economy is suffering from the lack of tourist money.
When we last visited Skye it was mobbed by Chinese and Korean visitors. My brother lives in St Andrews and they are missing the big spending Chinese and American golfers.
On the plus side lots of visitors from other parts of the UK.

As a Scot I speak English and it is very condescending to say Scottish sounds foreign.
Some regional accents in all home nations can be difficult to pick up.

Les only English NHS app not Scotland.
Unfortunately at the moment we would have to bother our GP practice for details of our vaccinations.
God knows when our beloved government will get their act together!!!

Lovely photograph great memories of our 2014 trip to Antarctica and having met Steve McCurry on the Shadow Singapore to Sydney in 2017.
Planning to have print framed.Thank you Silversea.

Met Steve McCurry on the Shadow three years ago and his talk and slideshow of his work was wonderful.
Lovely man he told us he had done all the photography work for the Macallan distillery visitor centre and had stayed in our home town of Elgin. It’s a small world.

Refund received on Amex Card took 41 days after contacting Silversea London office.

You can have a leisurely breakfast in Atlantide .

New York to Montreal on the Whisper in 2015 numerous passengers whose dress code left a lot to be desired!!
I wonder if it is this route with American professionals on holiday who do not wish to dress up?
There are always a few casually dressed people but on that cruise we were in the minority adhering to the dress code.

Silversea even ventured to the far north last year as they hosted afternoon tea for guests in Aberdeen. Champagne flowed and Silversea staff were charming.
Goody bag to take away with Hotel Chocolat choccies and a voucher for £400 off next cruise. -
On our cruise I rented the boots and they were excellent and certainly did not grudge the money.Numerous people did not rent and could not get the correct size borrowing from the ship. Our rental boots were in a boot bag in our suite when we boarded and we tried them on immediately in case we needed to exchange for a different size.To save any hassle rent.

Thank you Mysty yes loved being back on the wonderful Whisper. Great company with fellow Brits lots of Canadians and Australians onboard. One couple from the USA with whom we disagreed thought that the Whisper should be retired as she was old !! They preferred Regent with the free excursions!! Didn’t get my point that nothing is free. Staff on board were wonderful and we enjoyed our two weeks back home to cooking and cleaning.
Enjoyed your world cruise reports it must have been tremendous

Circling back to this comment to say that in the sober light of day, I am less enthusiastic about the tailoring. There is some sloppy stitching, the buttons are disappointingly cheap quality, and there is a substantial error on the slacks that I didn't catch until I got onboard. Overall, I still made out well, but I can't say that it is superb quality all the way around.
Thank you Unibok duly noted. Will research and find a good Tailor.

Made a note of Uniboks tailor. Have a wonderful cruise.

Sounds like Bob needs some guidance from the wonderful Colin Brown who knows how to work the room.
Just wondering if some of the new CD’S have come from RC?
