If you happen to be sailing on Carnival's Mardi Gras, the best place to stay is Holiday Inn Express. It is literally across the street from the ship. You just walk your suitcase across the street. They even offer parking while you are on your cruise, which is slightly cheaper than the port's parking garage. The hotel is not quite a year old. It's very nice and has a great free breakfast.

I'm a huge football and love watching games on Sunday...yes, even on vacation. Is there a sports bar or somewhere to watch NFL games?

Has anyone used Fast Pass Transportation from Orlando Airport to Port Canaveral? If so, how would you rate your experience?

Hi...my husband and I stayed here in December of 2021 and 2022, before cruises. We got the parking/shuttle package both times. The hotel itself is fine. It's safe and clean,but a little dated. They lack organization with the shuttle to the port. It was so bad, we finally just called an Uber for $10. The shuttle after the cruise is waiting for you when you get off the ship. It's not the Ritz, but I didn't see anything wrong with it. Have fun!
