Cruising next year on Riviera. Stopping at Almalfi/Positano before heading to Rome. If anyone has sailed this direction before, can you tell me if you get a nice view of the Almalfi from the ship when it’s anchored? Also has anyone done the 21/2 hr boat ride and visit to St. Andrew? I know there are 60 steps to Cathedral but how is the going from where the boat docks up to the cathedral - very steep? Thank you!

Just returned from Riviera cruise and even though original itinerary stated we would disembark at 8:00, people were actually able to leave about 7:00 a.m. We have booked another Oceania cruise in the future that states the same disembarking at 8:00. We’d like to get a 9:20 flight using a quick pass through security at the Barcelona airport. I read it takes 20 to 30 minutes to get to the airport from cruise port and about 15 minutes from security to the gates. Has anyone ever disembarked in Barcelona very early and made an early flight. We would also purchase air tickets that allow us to rebook if we have to. Thank you.

Friends who we will be traveling with were saying they get to attend an onboard reception as this is their 3rd cruise on Oceania. I believe I once read that there is also a reception for first time cruisers. Am I correct? If it matters we will be on the Riviera departing Southampton. Thanks!

Are cruisers allowed to pay corkage and bring their bottle back themselves the following night. I do like to sit down and have a glass of wine while looking over the menu. Would not like waiting till middle of dinner before it arrived! Thank you.

Can anyone who has used wine corkage fee tell me who we notify at Waves and Terrace Cafe that we have wine somewhere on the ship. Is there a table server at both Waves and TC? And just out of curiosity, does anyone know if a call is made to the “wine holding area” and someone is in charge of delivering said wine or does the busy server have to go back and forth? Thanks!
