  1. Over 20 cruises under my belt, never really had a bad one and have cruised CCL many times.

However, just back from the Sunshine and the smokers that surrounded our balcony ruined our balcony experience.

Morning, noon, and ALL night they were out there smoking, and smoking, and smoking some more.

There was so much smoke it even seeped into our room.

We called and were told there was nothing to be done about it. We were told, "it was their right to smoke on the balcony."

Well where were my right not to be exposed to smoke 24 hours a day for seven days?

I can tell you moving forward if I have a choice I won't sail any line that allows smoking on the balcony again. And I just noticed on the news yesterday that NCL won't allow smoking on the balconies anymore.

I am not an anti smoker, but I don't believe your right to smoke should infringe on my rights to breath clean air.

  2. If you use the computers on CCL ships beware I think CCL is selling your E mail name.

Just sailed the Sunshine last week.

Normally I get only about 3 to 5 spam E mails a day.

First day after I used the computers online I had about 35 spam e mails and have been have the same volume of about 35 to more spam E mails everyday since.

    Has anyone else experience this?

  3. Oh no, leaving on the Sunshine in about three weeks, but have been busy with work and life and have done NOTHING to prepare...

Going to Disney for two days before the trip but have not booked the hotel, in fact I don't even have plans to get to Disney from the airport.

Don't even have plans to get from Disney to PC.

Don't have anything booked on the ship yet to do.

Going back to Disney for one day after the cruise, no hotel booked or don't even know how to get there.

Don't have hotel booked at Disney or way back to the airport yet.

    I am a mess, help.

  4. I live in NO and CCL always moves ships into and out of NO every year or so.

It makes sense, NO draws a lot of the cruisers from within a day or two's drive.

Most (not all) like to experience new CCL ships so by moving new ships into the NO market they got a lot of repeat customers like my family.

We have cruised the Tropical (one of my favorites) The Celebration, The Inspiration, The Triumph and The Conquest out of NO, if CCL had left the same old ship we would never have cruise that ship over and over.

Whats funny is we are flying to PC this June 28th for a cruise on the Sunshine when it has been in NO for the past year or so.

  5. CCL moved the Sunshine out of NO because thats what they do all the time, it attracts people from a driving distance to come and sail on a new ship. I live in NO and have been on about 10 CCL ships over the years.

I would never have sailed on the same ship ten times, its part of their marketing campaign to attract repeat business to new ships in NO, I love it when they change ships.

  6. Sorry but I won't wait forty minutes if deck chairs just have towels in them, I move them and use the chairs now. Now if a chair has personal items in them I won't touch them just in case the person is in the pool, bathroom, getting food, etc....
