We did Rhythms of the Night and were the last to board before the ship left. No problem and it is a memorable excursion. Enjoy.

We always take a few lightweight rubber gloves. Never had to use them but you never know.
One other thing not mentioned is something for foot blisters. It seems my heels always bother me on a cruise and they are a lifesaver. Have a fun trip m

This issue repeats itself and veteran cruisers always have the same answer CASH. Nothing works better and is more appropriate or appreciated.

Is this on carnival cruise ships? We are going on the Horizon in Jan 2018.
Yes. Have a nice cruise.

I use one sided sticky magnetic tape. I stick it to my poster and up on the door. Doors are metal.

Friends luggage became infested on the plane flight from Israel. Found them the next morning after arrival. Exterminator found them both on bed and on their suitcases.

We use the PAC-Safe neck pouch under our clothing when we carry our passports, credit cards, money with us. For us this works.

Is anybody else booked on this freighter cruise? First time for us on this type of cruise and not quite sure what to expect.
Just curious as I would like to book this cruise. Did you enjoy your trip and what can you share what you experienced. Thanks.

Have cruised both and each have their good and bad points. I am comparing two Hawaiian cruises, each 15 and 16 day trips.
I found Carnival has better MDR food, more buffet choices, larger balcony rooms, especially larger showers, and overall much more livelier.
Princess has wonderful entertainment with live bands, more subdued clientele and you are not constantly hounded by photographers. The International Cafe is a great place for a midnight snack. The specialty restaurants are very nice.
Both have wonderful and friendly staff. We had full service on both cruises but true no towel animals on Princess but you do get a little chocolate on your pillow. Internet and daily information about the same. Less announcements on Princess. Both had tablecloths in MDR and dancing only on last evening.
Carnival has a hairy leg contest and Princess had a hairy chest contest. I didn’t attend either one. Ha ha.
Loved both cruises.
Just my opinion trying to compare two similar cruises.

I can't understand the love for either grits or poutine.
Ummm. I love grits!! Let’s get this silly “I want to bring gifts” thread off on another topic. Haha

We were boarding the Miracle. My DH had his cowboy gear on along with his, what I call, his 10-gallon hat. He loves that hat and it rarely is left behind. A young woman congratulated him and handed him a ship on a stick. I was like ...wait, wait, why? She said he was the hundred person to come onboard!! We are Platinum and were about 30th in line! I still call him a cheater on that one. [emoji23][emoji23]

Yes they do offer this tour. You are sailing on a ship that has, Tracy Arm on the itinerary? https://www.princess.com/excursion/exDetails.page?t=A&exType=S&tourCode=TA1-660
Thank you Budget Queen but so far it isn’t being offered on my sailing. August 24 from San Francisco. Perhaps because they sail Tracy only a half day. I didn’t notice the time when I booked. Hopefully they may add it later. I need to be more observant when booking princess as they tend to have strange or shortened hours in some ports compared to other cruise lines.

Does Princess offer the small boat tour? We will be cruising Tracy Arm in August and can’t find it on the excursion section. Thank you.

We received a Carnival e-gift card. Do I have to use it on a Carnival cruise or can I use it on a Princess cruise.

DH, 28 Years Navy loves to cruise. Wears his uniform on formal nights. Some passengers think he is the captain. [emoji4]

First time here on Princess and boarding Tuesday for Hawaii. I appreciated the responses for tips and suggestions. I wanted to ask if you could order a drink through room service, say a Bloody Mary with breakfast for example.

Another suggestion ask on your roll call. Sometimes there may be someone who has scheduled a tour and need another couple or two to fill the tour.

Then you are admitting to leaving your passport in your safe. THAT is erring on the side of caution.
Obviously my personal caution level is much greater than most!

All well and good... in a perfect world. For me personally I err on the side of caution.

Never have I had an issue, but if your class action payout is enough...I want in on it.
