My 2 cents worth here….and applies only to us. We are healthy, but not the 17 year old buffoons we once were. For us, after a terrific, and hopefully relaxing cruise, we would not want the stress of perhaps missing a flight home due to time constraints. We take our time…..head to Airport lounge and have a drink or three and reminisce about our cruise. Then we have a relaxing flight home.

Does anyone have a copy of the Suite "premium" selections? The ones beyond the standard list.
On our Grand Suite pre-order form, connoisseur/premium alcohol choices do not show up. Rather, you have to request whatever it is you may want. Probably best for either you or your or TA to contact RSSC for their offerings.

Does anyone know how many bottles you are allowed? I'm not trying to have a fully stocked bar, but I would like a couple options, and the wife really only drinks wine. I'm hearing 2 bottles, but hoping 3 or 4 is allowed by chance.
We will be in a Grand Suite and are allowed to pre-order up to 4 bottles. We have been in same suites on a couple Splendor cruises and have always asked butler for additional choices and have never had a problem getting our requests fulfilled. Suggest you order as many as you are allowed pre cruise, then ask butler or room attendant to add other choices.

Ok, it's good to see these selections from people that are or have been available. I hope it's not a selection based on the ship, but I wouldn't see any logical reason for that.
This is our full available selections on pre cruise form.

Hello all. We are cruising on the Voyager in a couple weeks and are working on our mini-bar selections.
We were wondering, has anyone been able to request and get a liquor selection that ISN'T on the bar menu or the Butler form? A complimentary one I mean, not a connoisseur selection. The options for Bourbon are pretty basic and limited. Was hoping for maybe a Buffalo or something in that area. I mean I've been on NCL countless times and they have many options at the bars, so figured Regent is likely going to have similar options as well given they source from the same place (NCL owns Regent). But again, just wondering if anyone has been able to get something other that the 3 lousy options on the form/menu.
TIA!
On our upcoming Gradeur cruise in July, these are the Bourbons available on our pre cruise form.

The surcharge on SS for La Dame and Kaesiki are definitely not worth the up charge. Add to that men must dress formal, ie. Jackets…..and for us there is no comparison. We have done 2 Silversea cruises and 5 Regent (with another coming up in July on Grandeur) and by far we prefer food and ambiance on Regent.

I think it depends on the cruise. We were able to book the classes on Grandeur this summer over a year before our cruise. it was well before the shore excursions.
As were we for our Grandeur July cruise.

My Dec 2024 cruise on Splendor still show no culinary arts classes available to book. I looked at the culinary arts tab on regent and the only cruises showing this feature we explorer cruises: Culinary Arts Kitchen | Regent Seven Seas Cruises (rssc.com) . Has anyone been able to prebook on Splendor or Grandeur for that matter for upcoming cruises? Or do you just have to book onboard now?
We pre-booked for our Splendor Caribbean cruise and have already booked on Regent’s website (quite a while ago) 2 classes for our Grandeur Med cruise in July.

Holding a lounger for more than 30 minutes violates Regent's policy....not to mention being selfish.
It is not a Policy if it is not enforced. Regent did enforce the policy on our Splendor cruise a while back by having a "table of shame" set up by pool bar and items left unattended for more that 30 minutes were collected and left there for pickup by these inconsiderate miscreants. Almost wanted to stand up and applaud them when retrieving their items while I was sipping cocktails at pool bar.

Folks: sorry I did not do a wrap up, but I caught some sort of stomach illness that knocked me down. I ended up in the emergency room with several ruptured ulcers that required eight pints of blood. The doctor even told my wife to consider calling a priest. Five days later, I dodged another bullet, but spent up one of my lives. The downside is no more alcohol. So, if you have stocks in Don Q rum sell ASAP. Now I hope to go home today.
Thanks for all the prayers from friends and family. BTW, my college classmates ran a pool to guess the hour and day I would croak. I won the pot.
Z and TB
Z....sorry to hear of your health issues and hope you are feeling better soon. When we board Grandeur in July, I will light a candle and place it on the pool bar.....4th seat from the right, in your honor. Hope your better ¾ is looking after you.

My two cents.... "why do people care what other people wear?" Doesn't matter.
When we book Regent we pay to have a total experience. Part of that is the decorum around the ship. The "promised" experience and decorum includes the dress code. The Dress Code is very specific for both day and night If you don't want to follow the dress code, find a cruise line that is more in sync with your desired vacation experience. That's it. Doesn't matter why I care or even IF I care, what matters is it's Regent's ship and as such it's their right to make whatever rules they want. When you agree to cruise with them you agree to abide by the rules. So be an adult and abide by the rules. Not that hard folks. 😏
And that should include the dreaded miscreants…..the lounge chair joggers.

Charleston is a great city for walking especially to the Battery, South of Broad Street, Rainbow Row, and the market.
Check out Hall’s Chop House for dinner.

Hall's is a terrific place for dinner. Charleston, much like Savannah, has wonderful and abundant restaurants.

We’re staying at the Marshall House. It appears to share a wall with 45 Bistro! I just checked the Marshall House website. The breakfast room is 45 Bistro so I guess pretty convenient for us for dinner too.
We are planning on the Hop On/Off bus and maybe a river cruise. The Crystal Beer Parlor menu looks yummy. We’ll see how close the bus will get us to it.
Marshall House is a great location, and indeed shares building with 45 Bistro. A very quick and easy stroll to River Street from there as well as along Broughton. Very famous ice cream place is Leopold’s…..always a line up and virtually across the street from your hotel.

Our favorite place for a great dinner is 45 Bistro on East Broughton…. www.45bistro.com. Great small bar for a cocktail pre-dinner there. Crystal Beer Parlor for lunch and craft beer is terrific. Www.crystalbeerparlor.com.
Where are you staying while in Savannah?
Walking through the squares is always beautiful, especially Forsyth Square. Hop on/Hop off bus is a good way to see the city and River area.
In Charleston….we really enjoy Husk (also their Savannah restaurant) Fig, and High Cotton. Favorite hotels in Charleston are French Quarter Inn and Planters Inn.

Do you guys have any suggestions for Must-Do activities? We’ve never been to either city. Also we would be thankful for some suggestions for a nice dinner, or lunch for that matter, while we’re there.

Too bad.....and by the way, was just giving you the Mickey about a Diet Coke or cup of tea. We've been here for 15 years now and love Savannah even though we live on Skidaway Island (12 miles from downtown.

Good morning! Yesterday was another feel good/ feel crummy day. It must have been something I ate. As we were sitting down for dinner at Compass Rose, my least thought was eating. I ended up ordering a bowl of rice. As the bar tender came by, he noticed my gills were a little green and came back with a non-alcohol concoction he called “La Bomba,” which made me feel much better. I was feeling lousy enough the I failed to take many pics.
Enough whining. After lunch, The Boss wanted to go to the Charleston market, so we hoofed it over and strolled through the incredible amount of stalls.
There are all sorts of hand made handicrafts to include these baskets which can run up to $200US for one the size of a plate.

Last night was the premiere of a new show called “Pasión,” which is a tango themed presentation. I heard from someone that it was not that great and there was no storyline to follow.
Charleston is now in our rear view mirror and fast disappearing. What a great city, people, and food wrapped around so much history. We plan to return in September and also visit Savannah which is also a beautiful city.
Today: sea day follows by our last stop at the big apple 🍎.Z and TB
After our Grandeur cruise in July, we are heading to Ireland to golf for 9 days, and back to Savannah Sept. 12. If your visit here is after that date, let me know and we could possibly meet up for a Diet Coke or cup of tea.

Bourbon Choices on board
in Regent Seven Seas Cruises

I would think Regent will comply with whatever it is you like. May be a price involved but if an absolute favorite/must-have, you should be able to arrange for it.
