  1. We plan to visit the creek and then travel to the Dubai mall.Should we walk to al Ghubaiba metro station and then transfer at Burjuman metro station to the red line to go to the mall or use taxi.Which option would you recommend based on cost/time?

  2. Considering visiting the Burj Khalifa but have now read reviews which seem to say that even buying tickets on line, you can wait up to an hour in a queue to get to the viewing area, ie 124 floor and then due to the amount of people, some times three deep at the windows, you can struggle to see out. Would be interested in hearing from people who have visited if this was also your experience or does it depend on time of day you visit and did you consider it was worth the cost for the experience.

  3. Azura was due to do a world cruise before but this was cancelled due to poor sales. In fact we were on azura and were thinking about booking a sector of the world cruise when they announced the cruise was cancelled. This raises an interesting point as on another tread people are talking about the new larger ship due to launch in 2020 and how a lot of people prefer the smaller ships. These ships have in the past done world cruises.Maybe this is another attempt to try to persuade people to try the larger ships for world cruises and if it fails could this mean the end of world cruises in the future.

I agree. The lifts on Britannia hold up to 18 passengers. At least that's what it says on the panel inside the lift.We managed to get 13 passengers in one of the lifts and that was a tight squeeze. How you would manage to get 18 passengers in the lift, I don't know.

  5. The price in the brochure is before any discount is applied. An example would be you receive 5% discount for booking with P & O and an additional 5% for past passenger giving 10% discount. Then the TA would add their discount, say 5% to the discounted price to give a final price.

No one was able to answer the question as to why the trams were not running. There was however a lot of road works in the area. We spoke to three different locals while standing at the bus stop which is situated across from tram stop, waiting on bus to go to train station. All confirmed the trams had not been running for several weeks and there was no info as to when or if the trams would run again soon.
