Veggie burger at Mast Grill. It takes time to prepare, but really a treat on a sea day!

Have a great cruise!

Thank you so much!
It was a much cleared and more open view of wherever we were headed and what was in front of the boat. :) It was nice to shower my daughter there and just look at the view while she played with her mermaid.
Thank you.
Is your balcony also facing the front of the ship? Is it open balcony or closed balcony?

Good writing style and beautiful pictures.
Thanks for sharing.
What view do you have from the Heaven bath tub?

... If I have something delivered to the room, what is an appropriate tip for the delivery? Or is that what the other gratuity is for?... ...
The daily gratuity does not cover room service. As other poster said, they are not going to wait so keep your tip handy.
They usually call before delivery, so you can tidy up if necessary. Think of this call as a wake up call ☺.
During the day you can also have room service, not just for breakfast. Nice to order (free) fruit and cheese platter in the afternoon.

... ... and sometimes you have visitor on your balcony ... ...

Morning coffee. Taking photo. Enjoying the sea breeze. Reading/relaxing on the balcony. Afternoon tea. Cheese & fruit plate before dinner. Late night gazing the stars or the dark ocean. ☺ I just LOVE the balcony.

Good to hear you are enjoying the Allure. She is a grand ship.

We always tip extra on the last dinner, except on our Crystal cruise as we have My Time Dining, thus different servers every night.
-
They did not on our 2013 Enchanting Rhine cruise, but since most of the reviews on CC of that excursion (on any cruise line) were negative we didn't find that a problem [we didn't want a long bus ride to buy a cuckoo clock or eat bad Black Forest cake].
Hahaha... good point.

I don't recall but we never book optionals so I would likely not have noticed.
Thank you.

We did Basel to Amsterdam on AmaReina a few months ago. I am not one who saves things but am happy to answer any questions... ...
Sorry if this is out of topic but I wonder if AMA has an extra excursion to the Black Forest. Thank you.

Thank you for the dailies, and the review.

Thank you for the dailies offer. Please do. [emoji4] [emoji106]

Bolster. :-)

Yes, even multiple ons and offs. Just remember to get on board prior to the muster drill. Check the cruise dailies.

I'm glad us gentlemen have pockets and don't have to worry about these.
Of course DW doesn't particularly care for them either. She is also glad I have pockets :D
Hahaha...! Same here, same here!

We booked balcony but were upgraded to CC at embarkation. Wow!
We love the daily canape in the afternoon in CC class.
But if we have to pay for CC, I'd rather pay a little bit extra and book Aqua Class. It will be nice to dine at Blu.
Now I am hunting for a suitable itinerary, time and price for our next X cruise!

I was hesitant to do our first TA but the adventurer inside me always wants to brave a new experience. Besides, I hate to fly all the way half the globe Jakarta to FFL just to try the Allure, so a cruise Miami to Barcelona immediately after looks good.
Turns out we LOVE the sea days! True, it was not exactly 7x24 hours long as we keep losing one hour each day. We don't drink, we don't gamble, but we find enough activities to enjoy. We did pay extra for Spa Pass so we can relax EVERYDAY on the heated ceramic lounge and plunge in the thalasso theraphy pool, it is money well spent. My DW doesn't speak English so we do very little "social" things. Mostly we just keep to ourselves. We were on NCL Epic for this TA but I think any other ship will be just as great.
Balcony is a must! We took some fruit from the buffet, order room service for cheese or sandwhich, and snacks by the sea and the stars.
Enjoy your TA. Bon voyage!

Those are sample menus and not necessarily what you'll get on board. For instance, when they released menu for American Icon Grille, surf & turf was listed on the menu every nite--Never appeared--Only at Grande. It reminded me of when escargot were on the RCL's menus for every nite and for a long period of time simply were not available. Also, got a pleasant surprise on the last nite of our 2/2/16 cruise at Silk--Lobster tails were on the special menu.
Does the menu stay the same for every night of the cruise? Or does it change - slightly?
-
Oh! I am sorry to miss the kid buffet (wasn't aware there is one). Would love to pick some mac'n'chizz...
-
We did not get any on our Epic TA, our first NCL....

Thank you for sharing your review and photos.
We are lucky our Mariner cruise RT Singapore in February has not became so "China syndrome" yet.
Allure- favorite things to do when you first board

We have our embarkation lunch at Solarium Bistro. Nice, hot soup and not so crowded. Booked Rita's Fiesta for dinner, a very fun way to start the cruise!
