  1. please be aware that due to the recent merger of Holland America's and Princess's medical departments, passenger physicians on board are NO LONGER from the US or Canada!!

The US and Canadian physicians used on board have all been dismissed by the new medical director who comes from Princess.

I have no problem with this. My two primary doctors were both trained in India. I get better care from them than when I used to have a US trained doctor.

  2. A&JFamily- No a drink is not a drink, they all contain different amounts of alcohol....The alcohol content of beer usually is 5-7%, for spirits generally 40%, for wine 11-13%

You need to finish the rest of the math problem. % of alcohol multiplied by the volume equals the total alcohol content. You would only be correct if all of your examples were the same volume.:rolleyes:

  3. Last cruise there was a 7 year old boy who would run from pool to slide to hot tub and jump in splashing everyone. We asked him where his parents were at and he said they were in the room napping. That's too young to be running around by yourself. Next day there were about 10 kids in each hot tub along with a mom and diapered baby. I just want to relax and soak for a few minutes.

I love the hot tubs. It's like a soup made from all of the activities everyone did that day.

  4. Just a note added to this -- your passport must be valid FOR SIX MONTHS beyond the scheduled RETURN date of your cruise.

I just read on CC of someone denied boarding, I think it was a longer cruise, where the passport would have had only four months on end of cruise.

We travel a lot and this is not restricted to cruises but land travel too.

Not for closed loop cruises departing from the US.

  5. It is a huge hassle for them to get your cards from the other areas. They not only have to close their computer for safety, find a supervisor to explain why they are leaving, explain to the other check in people why they are in the wrong area and listen to the next people harp at then for the delay.

I have never experienced this at the terminal. The agents have to leave to get the room keys even if it wasn't a priority boarding. Last cruise I was at window #24 and they had to walk to an area near window #6 to pick up cards. Other times, they have a runner that gathers the cards.

  6. Yes. Right now it looks like we are going to try a Couplescruise in May on the MSC Divina. I wasn't to sure at first but it sounds like a great party cruise with no kids and of course we will not be participating in the swing aspect.

I will also look into the Bare Nakedcharters. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Of course not. ;)
