It says that some people were hogging the reservations so one per and that way everyone can go to the specialty dining. Makes sense to me.
-
Maybe the best thing is to wait a little bit until people have booked and see on the roll call if there are other teens on board. I personally would think it would be a good step up much like taking a teen for an upscale dining experience vs going to Chilis?

I was just trying to find a reference point, I sailed Carnival once the food was about Denny's quality and I wrote about how disappointed I was in the food, they responded back and I am paraphrasing " We never said we had great food"
For Celebrity the food is very good in my opinion , in the MDR it is like an upscale but not expensive restaurant, the steak at outback used to be comparable to a MDR steak but Outback has gone way downhill in their meat quality. You may knock Red Lobster but I have been to one here in Denver and they do a very good job with their dishes. One thing i always have to overlook is that the food is rarely hot on a cruise ship, and some food is just better hot.
This is a good topic in my opinion as some people think every meal is like Ruth's Cris the service is but not the Steak.
-
One big difference is that the cruise food is usually already made or somewhat made and the chains vary also, Outback for me has gone downhill, and Red lobster is not bad so maybe them for the seafood, I would say the MDR is not at the high end steakhouse quality.

One other note you can flip thru all of the pictures for the room
-
I was going thru some pics I found online and in this pic there is a glass bathroom scale at the bottom. Whoever heard of a scale on a cruise ship, it is like a clock in Las Vegas
-
thanks I will keep looking just what town should I look for?
The car is 32.00 US which is probably the reason

I have arranged a rental car for Lazarote the hotel where I am supposed to get the car is located here:
Calle Los Ajaches 1, Puerto del Carmen,
Lanzarote, Spain
How far is that from the port?
-
One thing to be aware of debit and prepay cards do not always work with rental cars, I was in Seattle earlier this year and a woman was in tears as all she had was a debit card and they could not rent her a car, she had to have someone drive down from where she was visiting to give them a credit card for the car rental. For me I always carry 3 cards and make sure I call the company up, Chase has been quick to disable a credit card when used to buy gas on a road trip.
For me it is the only way to pay for a cruise since you have protection in case something goes wrong plus I get points/miles for the purchase.

make sure you check to see if you need to tell them you will be out of the country, also you can use this which is what I think you were told about?

if you have a pc or something with HDMI out people have had good luck by unplugging the HDMI cable to the TV and plugging in your laptop.
Then you can use the laptop to play the movie, unless of course you have a tablet with HDMI out?

I actually plan on taking a spare phone with me to use as a camera, funny how cameras are bigger than a phone with a camera.
they don't take the best pics but for web pages they are not bad and everyone loves food pics!
I feel that the cruise will be a perfect time to break the chain for everyone, give people that need to call you the information on how to call the ship and let them know it is for emergencies.
leave clear instructions if you have pets and talk to your Vet ahead of time about what to do in case of an emergency.
just enjoy being together

Also top deck has the big overhang

thanks for providing a different view of things, I feel if you work with your child as they grow you need fewer rules when they become teens and independent my daughter has always been responsible and when we were in Paris a few years ago we had a friend of hers join us from Ireland and the 2 of them spent 2 day exploring Paris with no issues, I would certainly feel she would be safer on a cruise ship than the streets of Paris!
-
I was there over 10 years ago and it was really nice but one thing if you buy any packaged shirts open them up and check before you pay for them we bought some t shirts that were wrapped and when we opened them the fabric was much thinner than the sample we were shown and the size was very small!
Easy to get around and really nice people too!

10 or higher is pretty hard to keep steady you will need to try somewhere before you buy or borrow. I spent some $$ on these in 2000
http://www.amazon.com/Canon-10x30-Stabilization-Binoculars-Batteries/dp/B00004THDC
they work really well while on the ship and on the whale watching boat unless you do not get motion sickness at all I think trying to use them on a small boat is looking for trouble on a walking tour you could be fine with anything you can hold steady.
-
this cruise here is about 45k for a 108 day cruise that is per person you could probably get a discount if you booked 3 back to back
