APDMOM,
We are sailing on the Fascination leaving on March 13. If you are available, I would really appreciate it if you can take some pictures of the ship.
This cruise was a surprise vacation for my wife's 50th birthday.
Thank you again (hopefully) in advance.

I just tried and it gave a message of "No rates available for your selection".

I just went on the Carnival website to check prices and my sail date (March 13) on the Fascination is not coming up. Does that mean it is completely sold out?

Hello everyone,
We are looking for options to do some snorkeling in Freeport.
I already know about Pat and Diane's. We only have enough time to do the 3 hour snorkel tour with them. Our ship (Carnival Fascination) is only in port from 7:00-2:00.
Are there any other options?
My wife is a good swimmer but I am not. I will need a flotation device to be able to comfortably float around and "stick my face in the water" to look at the fish and coral. I may need someone to give a little assistance.
Thanks for any suggestions

You must check in 1.5 hours ahead of time but you can board from 1-3pm.
I am going to do the Carnivall Transfer after reading the description online. They will be waiting for us and will be aware that we are coming.

I am trying to decide what to do...
My flight arrives at 1:18 and the last Carnival transfer is at 2:30. You need to be on the ship by 3:00.
My concern is if my flight is delayed I may be able to call Carnival and let them know. I know that they will not hold the ship but maybe have a later transfer waiting for us.
I also want to use the taxi to stop at a a liquor store (if one is close) to get a bottle of wine to take onboard and a 12 pack of diet coke or just a 7-11 to get the diet coke. Cheaper than onboard.
Not sure if I will have time????
What would everyonen suggest?
-
WOW.
The Carnival transfer is only $20. Actually something booked through Carnival is cheaper. The only bad thing is that you need to wait for the entire van to get filled. With a taxi, you can go immediately

How long of a ride it it from the Jacksonville airport to the port?
-
Does anyone know what side of the ship will you be able to see the port in Nassau and Freeport when the Fascination docks?

TumbleW467..
What is the name of the store you mentioned? I want to Google it.
How do you get there from the port?
thanks!!

thanks for everyones opinion. We changed our cabin to 4194 on the legend.

I'm currently booked in 4151 so the view from what you posted would be mostly cutoff from the lifeboat in the way since it is the next cabin over. I would be able to see a tiny bit in the bottom corner. I may try to go to 5194 which has basically the same view you had between lifeboats.

MZOHIOLADY..
Were you able to feel much movement of the ship in your cabin since it is more toward the rear of the ship than cabins toward the middle?
-
How big of a difference is there between 4124 (which is in the middle of the ship), 4151(a little further back) and 4194 (towards the back) in regards to movement. I have always heard to stay closer to the middle for less movement.

Has anyone even been in cabin 4124? It is below the back of the piano bar and were worried about noise from below. Can you hear anything?
We are currently booked in cabin 4151 but looking at this thread, we really don't have much of a view and 4124 has a little bit better view.
Also, what about cabin 4194? It is further back on the ship.
Not sure if we could change cabins.

Thank you very much for the review. We are sailing in 11 days and it will be the first time on the Fascination. We learned a lot of great information.
All of the pictures were great. We are getting more excited about the cruise actually seeing what to expect.
Again, Thank you!!
