  1. If you book for Sunday night you will be charged for that night in addition to whatever other nights you are staying. Check in is usually not until 2 pm or later but most hotels will let you drop off your luggage and store if you want to go walk around or do something in town until check in time

  2. I have never used EZ Air before, always have booked directly with airline. I saw pricing on the EZ Air site a bit less than direct thru the airline so thought i would try it knowing it is cancellable. Our cruise isn’t until next summer

So i reviewed and selected flights with flexible fares. I got all the way to the end and hit the book button then it came back and said fare had increased do I still want to book? I said no and backed completely out

is this typical? Ever had this happen?

  3. hi, thank you, that was what I was afraid of.  I am a high mileage frequent flyer that can extend to others only on my itinerary.  And more importantly, as you mentioned, i want all of us traveling together and the airline won't see that if we are booked on separate itineraries should things start changing with flights etc.

I will contact Princess and see what they say

My original was refundable, but when I took advantage of a significant price drop, it became non refundable  - a risk I was willing to take. My current fare is $2420 less than the original booking, plus an addition savings of $125 on the vacation protection.

Ok, I understand. But is it true that once you have a non refundable deposit, you no longer take advantage of future price drops without losing your deposit?

I had previously changed my booking to take advantage of a price drop.  I lost the sip and sail but saved more than the cost, and will add it later.  I have fully paid for the cruise, but was still able to take advantage of 2 price decreases, totaling $200 P/P

And your original booking was a non refundable deposit? You didn’t lose your deposit?

Doesn't sound like you'll be able to book a cruise you don't intend to take.

Doesn’t a non-refundable deposit mean you no longer have the flexibility to rebook and refare for a better promo? Even if you do intend to take the cruise you booked?
