  1. We will be coming off a Celebrity TA in Ft Lauderdale and planned on adding another 10-14 days in Florida. Now we were wondering if it would not be better to fly back to Europe immediately or to fly to another US state ( not on South East Coast).
  2. Thanks a lot for input. we d like to come, but don t want to be “disaster tourists” either.
  3. We have all seen the devastation that Ian had on Florida ‘s West Coast and the physical and mental pain and suffering it is causing. We feel for you and hope you can recover and rebuild in due time. We have a trip planned to Florida in 5 weeks, driving from East to West, no special itinerary or reservations yet. Need some advice if it is better to cancel whole trip or what areas to avoid. Will it even be possible to find hotel rooms that are not needed for the homeless ? Going forth and back if it is better to stay away for a while, but then Florida s main industry is tourism and if that falls away ?
  4. Ours still show up as cancelled as well under Order History. However after check-in (via App) our Xpass show CALL. So I assume everything is fine.
  5. Switzerland runs its own evaluation and validation process which takes additional time and hence was later in the ordering phase.
  6. Thanks a lot - very reassuring as the gap between the planned booster and the required antigen test decreases continuously. We might even still have to go last minute for a 2nd booster with the old vaccine 🫣
  7. We were waiting for the new boosters before our Transatlantic (have already 2 vaccinations and 1 booster with old Pfizer version). Now rollout of newer kind of vaccination is becoming delayed here and I fear we might only get it 1 week or so before having to test for TA. Not sure which make we will finally get. Does anyone have experience with new vaccinations and/or can confirm that it will not mess up antigen test so soon after (ie showing positive) ? thanks in advance
  8. …..Include a positive result document for a COVID-19 test, either PCR or Antigen test, taken a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 90 days before the departure date of your U.S. cruise; or, a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 180 days for European and Australia/New Zealand sailings…. What about Transatlantics going West this Fall, starting in Europe - would they qualify as “European” sailings with maximum of 180 days ?
  9. Any experiences/recommendations for a good rapid antigen test center close to La Ramblas / av Diagonal ? need one beginning of May for Celebrity cruise out of Barcelona. thanks
