  1. That is true about Wings. We are booked with them this November, can't wait! We wanted to do the heli but it's a bit too much for our budget, lol....I've heard so much about Wings and they're priced just right....so we're giving them a try :-) Happy sailing!

  2. This is such a great thread....thanks OP for starting this thread! My DH and I started cruising on our honeymoon 13 years ago and since then, we've become serious cruise junkies for the EXACT reason stated by the OP, lol!! We "were" loyal to Royal until they changed their loyalty program (almost right after we reached their highest level of loyalty program...Diamond Plus) We recently tried Princess and now we simply luv this cruiseline! We are extremely fortunate to live only 45 minutes from San Pedro and now with all of Princess' new "quick weekend get away" West Coast sailings, we are most definitely spoiled!!

    Happy sailing :)

  3. Have been to Hawaii three times in November. As mentioned before, the weather doesn't change very much year around. Only a few degrees one way or the other.

Thanks for your insight. Was the water rough to and from? I guess that's what am more concerned about, I do use the patch behind my ears but am trying not to use them as much :)

Keith1010 - Jan/Feb would be ideal but those are our busiest months prepping for our expo...perhaps some day :)

  4. We have sailed this several times but from Los Angeles.

We have had some of our best weather in January and February.

Hi there - you mentioned the best weather are in Jan/Feb. Have you cruised to Hawaii in November? Not that we would change our plans but was just wondering what to expect during our Nov. trip :)

    Thanks for your help!

  5. Thank you all for your help (the photos are awesome!!) We've only cruised RCCL and some other ones but not on Princess. This self-service laundry and MUTS are converting us to cruise on Princess more and more, lol!!! Especially now that their ships are over here in the west coast offering a lot of great itineraries, I think we'll be doing just that :)

    Thanks again!!

  6. Wow!! This is a great thread!! I've been enjoying all the great pics...got some myself and love to share 'em...but haven't been able to post 'em...can't seem to upload my pics onto photobucket:confused: I'll keep tryin...wish me luck! Meanwhile, am lovin' all the great pics and the stories that come with them...jumpsmiley.gif.955ce0ae67f45bf2e409bc2dd19ebd3a.gif

  7. Unbeknownst to us, we were on a cruise to Panama Canal with Dr. Ruth in Dec. 05 !!

She was such a cute little lady !!! She was fulll of life and energy, running around the ship with her crew and sometimes "dragging" the Captain behind her (lol). She made the trip memorable. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity:D. Needless to say, we learned quite a bit from her, if you know what I mean;)
