  1. We have a 9C guarantee booked and I have an MSC Divina YC booked for the same time. Trying to decide between the two and this is troubling. The one question I have for people who have been on the Wonder before is about the pool area. Is it very packed? They have two pools and it looks like it would be crowded.

  2. Thanks and thanks everyone for your help. So I called MSC this morning and the lady I talked to was super helpful but not crazy about the booking a fifth phantom person idea, which is fine because I was thinking about the Yacht Club anyway so we booked a Deluxe Suite with a bunk. I asked several questions about the Yacht Club and agree, compared to the prices of the Haven on NCL, this looks like a GREAT deal and I believe it will be a much more enjoyable experience than the Vista, and competitively priced against Vista as well. And you get so much more.

We looked at those rooms as well and I am not worried as people no-show all of the time.

  3. I just tried both Chrome and Internet Explorer, and I'm still not seeing any December 2018 Seaside sailings. Very strange. I guess I won't worry about it since I have an email confirmation of our booking. Just a little nervous as we got what seems like a great deal for the YC as well ($3900 for 3 in a YC1 for the Christmas sailing).

Called to check prices and the rep didn't have access to rates for Nov. 2018 onward.

  4. 3 beds do you mean the main bed plus a set of bunk beds?

Do you list a name for the "5th Person"?

If we wish to switch an existing reservation to include the bunk beds could it be done over the phone?

Any risk of issues boarding without the "full party" thanks

I did and he said that the "sick" person being a no-show will not be an issue.

  5. I just booked the Seaside YC suite and in order to get the suite with 3 beds, I had to have a "5th" person on the reservation. I paid for the 3rd bed, (about 175) but the "5th" person will be a no show. It was still worth it, as the same suite type is 3k less than what I have booked on NCL Gem same time frame.

  6. Their system seems to steer you into the more appropriate cabin, but it totally depends on availability. I had to book my two into a four person cabin, and now hope to not get moved if there is a cancellation in a lower occupancy cabin.

It was the bedding for us. The queen and then the sofa bed and two teenagers of the opposite sex sharing the bed is not an option. It was an extra 175 for the room with 3 beds, so not too bad and it is worth it to avoid the drama of bedding.

  7. I suspect you're referring to their cruise line, but I will relay that my spouse and I realized that we paid ten times as much in admission this last year, when we visited Walt Disney World, as we did the first year we visited Walt Disney World twenty five years ago. We spent as much on food in five days at Walt Disney World as the cruise fare for an inside cabin on our upcoming cruise, with all the food included, as well as the actual cruise, port stops, entertainment, etc. The grass is not greener over in the Magic Kingdom! :)

The cruise line as we are on a forum that is focused on cruising. We go to the Magic Kingdom every so often and spend about $900 on meals for a family of 4 for the week. Yes it is expensive, but the time to leave the park, eat, and return is also expensive.
