  1. You are not wrong. The water produced on the ship via reverse osmosis is excellent. It certainly is of better quality than most municipal water on shore.

You can purchase bottled water at your dining table should you desire. The water in your cabin and in the minirefrig is usually glacier brand and is $3 per bottle.

Do all cruise lines use reverse osmosis do clean their water

  2. I had a great time on the Miracle using the free spa rooms. The hot tub near the gym was rarely ever full ... always a spot and quite often just hubby and I . The steam room was amazing .. and free ... just down the hall. And the showers!!!! After day one when we found these we never took another shower in our room. They are down the hall on your right when heading aft wards ... they have a really great strong pressure with the rain forest head above and 4 more at belly level..... and each one is separate with lots of room .. We are on the Conquest next and I dont think it is the same .. but I will be checking it out on our first day !!!

    Thanks for the info

  3. I have spent an hour searching and reading and can't find what I am looking for. I want to know if you buy the week pass (how much? for a couple?) what things does that have, do they have the thassotherapy (sp?) pool? which type of steam rooms etc do they have on it. ALSO, do you have to wait till you get on board to buy the pass?

Thank you so much for your help.

If anyone has links to pics that would be great.

  4. Time and Money... I suspect is the reason for not installing them all.

The recent focus on adding redundency cuts into the other upgrades budget.

Did anyone else notice the big container sized backup generator now mounted on deck?

I like the Miracle enough I tried to get my wife to book another cruise ;)

I may grab myself a quick Mexico cruise again next spring!

A bunch of us going on march 8, the list is getting longer, join us B-) lol

  5. While I used to agree that the casino used to change the payout odds on he slot machines every day I have come to find out through a casino source that this is not possible. Every machine has a chip in it that controls the payouts and that to change this daily would in fact be impossible. There is no master control. With that said, most casinos on land set their payouts to anywhere from 88%-98%. Who knows where those payouts are set on a cruise ship (I'm thinking captive audience?)

Yes this is a huge myth. In order to change a slot machines payout the have to have

Regulators come in and oversee the whole process. It's not something they do very often.

  6. We were on her in September and loved the entire cruise ... oh yeah .. the &^&%$ bed ..the first night I woke up at 3 with my back in spasms ... Hubby took the reclining lounge chair from the balcony and that is what I slept on for 2 nights. They do not have the extra padding like other lines .. and this was a 15 night cruise lol .. I had to medicate every night to sleep. We travel often and sleep in many different hotels ...and this was our 11 cruise so I did not even think about the bed ...but it was horrible. Have never had this kind of problem before ...we are on the conquest for a b2b in Feb. Have my heating pad packed already.

Wow, is it that hard? Yikes.

  7. We sailed her in October for 15 days. I loved the ship. We had great service. I did a mini review of sorts about the ship and the cruise--just thoughts actually.

As far as the bed. I thought it was fine and we have a tempur pedic at home so believe me I notice the little things with other mattresses. Could I say I would swap the mattress for mine at home--of course not--but this very poor sleeper could sleep on the Miracle.

A few things I did not love but on the whole a great ship and cruise.

Could you send me a link to your review? Thanks

  8. My wife and I were on the Miracle in early Nov and had a great time. We thought the Steakhouse was best ever and like others loved the pizza. We are sailing her again in Jan 2014.

    Enjoy your cruise.

PS Do not miss fly on singer Ned Rifken's show--it is just excellent.

Good to hear, really looking forward to it. I booked it this afternoon for march 8 sailing

  9. Thanks for all the feedback. I am looking forward to this cruise. Oh and I didn't use the big search box but the forum one, tried several different things..........hmmmm. I am sure its user error

Did any of you use the internet while on board? How was it? Used to be I wouldn't care about such things but I have been doing sweepstakes for 3 years and win alot of stuff, so I need to be able to check emails ( for wins) and keep up with any new ones coming out so that I don't have to go through tons and tons of stuff when I get back.
