Usually when we travel with kids we stay at Embassy Suites, they have two queen beds and a fold out couch, plenty of room for 6 people. Plus, with a free made to order breakfast, and a Manager's reception in the evening (free soda, alcohol and snacks) it's a bargain for a large family.

I was looking at a few hotels and noticed they say 4 in room max. Well I have 2 step kids 14 and 12 and a 4 year old, anyone have any problems staying in a hotel with this many?

No Waterworks on the Freedom :(? We are sailing on the Freedom May 18th and I was ready to let my inner child come out on the water slides.

No waterworks and towards the end of April John heald said you will be able to book the above the bridge cabins, which I believe are those huge ocean view window ones, sorry not sure what they called.

all you have to do is go to carnivals website and look at the ships, they will have a popup that shows all the things it has. It won't show you if they are getting it but it it currently has it

If one person in cabin purchases it does the other have to? I don't drink much but hubby does?

Nice. We will be on Freedom at end of Oct.

The last guy that jumped off and swam to shore was kicked off the boat and banned from sailing on carnival ever again.

I think one of the reasons they don't is due to weather . Summer is rainy season and much hotter so not to popular, plus it's easier to transition a ship on the west coast to the Alaska cruises

Thank you for all the info. I have never been on NCL and have been considering it. We just went on Carnival Miracle a week ago (had been 10 years since my last cruise) and noticed things have gone downhill. I have sailed princess and celebrity before but never ncl.

I used to take bottled water some years ago but this cruise I just got back from on the Miracle I drank the ships water and it was good. I am picky too. Never noticed any weird taste.

The reason I used bottled water on previous cruises (which were several years back) was because they had seemed to add a lot of chlorine to the water and I knew that wasn't good to be drinking that and I always felt thirstier than before I drank it.

I have the same problem today- can not sign up- telling me the access code has expired. I have tried it with Chrome, IE and Firefox - no luck!

I got it to work you should try again. I did it on Google chrome. It worked as I was talking to their tech support on phone. He said there were no problems....hmmm

Thanks. I tried to register but their security codes either aren't working or saying expired, I am a little irritated about this. I emailed their technical support people. I leave this weekend and need to get registered.

I read a while back people use this to keep in touch with family for free while gone? Is this the correct forum? I am leaving at the end of this week and want to give this info to the people who are watching my daughter. Thank you so much.
