  1. Just got back. Of course you know layers. Fleece rain jacket was my buddy as well as a fleece jacket and sweat shirt. Take along maybe 2 long sleeves and mostly short sleeves. Jeans, sweat pants, bathing suit, 1 pair of shorts, leggings. Try to limit your night time to a couple pair of pants and different tops. Really no one cares! IF I did my 7 day again, I would have only taken 3-4 dressy tops and the same 2 black pants. WATERPROOF SHOES! hiking socks. Hope this helps. And... we are from MN. PS. Glad we took a hat and hubby took gloves. throw a portable umbrella in there too, Count on everyday being raining, that way if it doesn't, it will be even more lovely. Most of our crew carried a back pack. We did a sling bag and wish it was a back pack. Depending on what you are doing, take snacks.
  2. I have looked everywhere, made several calls, tried live chat (after and 1 hr and 1/2, I gave up). Tried speaking to my vacation planner, I did reach someone else and he never called back, google, checked on here. Any help or where I could go look, please let me know! Question: When you purchase a drink package and you are on shore (still during your cruise), you are able to use your drink package at certain participating vendors (ie; bars, restaurants,) and that will count towards your daily drink total. Example: in the Caribbean, Princess does have a private island where you are to use this, as well as some other vendors as well. I read where Alaska was going to be doing this as well. But I am not sure which town or which vendor. Has anyone heard anything? If you have, do you know which vendor (s) it is and/or town (s). This is will be factor in purchasing the package. Thank you so much in advance !!!! Happy sailing!!!
  3. Sad face.... But happy face - means I have to take another cruise. LOL
  4. Thank you so much. I see this thread was from 2016. I knew there where business model changes in 2018 and 2019. BUT! thank you for answering my question.
  5. Have several Carnival gift cards (have not used yet) and my group decided to go with Princess instead of Carnival. Since they are the same now, can I use my Carnival gift cards to pay off my Princess Cruise? Thank you in advance, even Google is not getting my question.
