How far out could you book the show times? Going in December.

We had our own equipment. Sorry, didn't notice if there was any place to rent gear. The fish were small, but very colorful and plentiful. It was shallow water snorkeling. We enjoyed snorkeling there and would go there again.
There was a reef, farther out,at the point, but we did not swim out that far.

Just back from our cruise to St Thomas. Thanks to all who posted, it was very helpful. We docked at Crown Bay and walked to Emerald Beach following the directions given in this post. There were sidewalks all the way and it took us (walking leisurely) about 30 minutes. The water was lovely (beach shoes are needed getting in the water), there was good snorkeling to the far left next to the hill. There were 2 beach bars open and umbrellas and chairs were available (don't know cost as we just put our towels down and went in the water.) Walked back via the industrial road and it only cut off 5 minutes. We'll walk there again when we visit St Thomas!

If you book on board (with a refundable deposit) and later find your category has reduced in price (we are senors with a military discount also) can you call RC and get the lower price without losing the OBC you got from booking on board? Thank you.

If you book on board for a 7 night cruise and get an OBC that is given for booking on board
do you still get the OBC that is offered from RC in the total cruise price (right now there's a 30% off and a $75. OBC )?
Is the OBC for on board booking still $100. for 7 nights? Thank you.

Could you tell us from getting off the ship the directions for the walk?

I recommend Chankanaab. We go every time we're in Cozumel. Short, inexpensive cab ride, and lots to do there for all ages. Go on their website to see the grounds and activities. Sometimes they have a discount coupon.

Has anyone done the St Lucia RC excursion Lucian Open Bus & Beach Tour and can offer an opinion?
We tried to sign up for Pitons Cruise and Snorkel but they wouldn't allow us as my husband is 71.
Disappointed, I understand why, but my husband is very fit, skis and golfs.

Can anyone comment on the Grandeur shore excursion "Day Trip to Nevis with Lunch" while docked in St Kitts?
Thank you.

Someone on Grandeur reviews posted recently going to Emerald Beach in St Thomas via a jitney, and they said some even walked there. Does anyone have info on the jitney and where to get it? How far is the walk from the port? We love to walk, does anyone have directions? Thanks.:)

Can you walk there by going right? Thanks for your input so far.

Usually when we get off the ship we go left outside of the gates and walk into town.
We have always wanted to go right to see what's there. Don't know if that's such a good idea after the hurricane.
Anyone walked that direction?

We did not go to Jewel Runaway Bay Resort for a shore excursion, but our family was there in early November 2017 for a wedding, and we loved this resort. Beautiful grounds, lovely beach with snorkeling right off the beach just out a ways and no intrusions from locals bugging you to buy, a water park with a lazy river and water slides, good food and drinks. I highly recommend it!

What shore excursion did you take in Antigua? Thanks.

Anyone have a picture of the window in Room 7582 - a preferred ocean view stateroom?
There is supposed to be an oversized window. Thanks.

We were in Preferred Ocean View Room 7582 on a 12 night cruise in January. I would book this room again!
I especially liked that the bed was placed by the large window, as I enjoy relaxing on the bed looking out at the ocean.
We were concerned, when we first entered the room, that the music from the Centrum would be annoying (when you exit the room from the small side corridor the room sits on,straight ahead, you are immediately at the railing for the Centrum). And while you could hear the music if you stood right at the closed door, once you got further into the room, you could not hear the Centrum sounds while in bed. I have stayed in balcony rooms on the Grandeur, but rarely sit out on the balcony. I just like them for the ocean view. With this cabin I got the view, but didn't have to pay the balcony price.
