Do you find that the slant of the walls means that the furniture seems to be at odd angles and there is not as much space to walk around as in a normal cabin?

The cabin walls do not slant. They are only drawn that way on the tiny, low-resolution deck plans. Only the balcony rail slants, giving you extra space.

We love sea days and have done 3 Transatlantics, but if you're worried about sea days I'd advise you to cancel your booking.

I put 24-hour holds on a cruise twice last week, and got calls from a PVP soon after.

These transatlantic price increases are no joke. The person who originated this discussion was serious and deserves respect [...]

I know what you are thinking but TA's are different. They are always much cheaper historically. That's why they almost always sell out.

You'd think Celebrity was some kind of corporation trying to turn a profit or something.

I always post my reviews on the message boards as well, since not everyone reads the member reviews.

I don't spend one second of my time worrying about the problem of excess luggage tags.

Is shipping an absolute requirement? We're an honest to goodness 6 minute cab ride from the port.

I made a new My Celebrity account in my wife's name and moved our bookings there so I could work with them.

You will be extremely lucky if one call fixes it. We are at 6+ calls and it always reverts.

Email? No. But I did have my last name changed by My Celebrity. They added a completely superfluous "Jr" to my last name, and now when I try to look at my future cruises I can't because the name on my profile doesn't match the name on the booking.

I guess I should just be thankful they didn't deny me boarding Infinity last week.

The same could be said of a screaming toddler (as long as it's not you they're throwing the Cheerios at), the smell of sewage from a backed up pipe, a drunken and obnoxiously loud diner at the next table over, or any number of other things we all see on every cruise. Those don't inconvenience you, do they?

Favorite? It's a tie among all of them — except Qsine. (Tried that one twice. Never again. The food is mediocre and we grew tired of the gimmicky concept halfway through the first dinner.)

Does anyone know if these balcony dividers can be opened to create a mega balcony as well, and if so, is that something we request from our cabin steward or order in advance?

Thanks for the feedback Steve! If I book a room on that slant and our friends book one next door, can the divider be opened to make a larger balcony?

(Or you could do it yourself if you brought the right size hex wrench.)

Think about it: If the system worked the way some people seem to want, i.e. points awarded every day, then everyone on the ship would be eligible for the Club events starting on the first morning after sailaway.

Not sure whether the Elite + can be applied after the 20% onboard or not . But if it can the overall discount is only 32% :eek::cool:

And then clean up after you when you leave. Celebrity will always have a place for those folks so that they don't have to hire more foreigners to do the dirty work.
