I'm booked on May 30 2020 on the Golden round trip Alaska. I was booked on the 3 for free deal but on the landmark deal got $1000 obc and balcony room dropped $1000. I also paid a little extra for refundable deposit

I love sailing in the back of the ship. You have the the whole view instead of one side.

I love Secret's of Princess. I know it's been a while since our last cruise. But...
1) If you forgot or lost your headphones. You can ask the spa attendants at the entrance for a set. They have disposable ones behind the desk for no charge.
2) Get an extra Princess Patter’s at the Purser’s Desk each day. I have a "Moody" teen and I prefer not to fight over one.
3) Can bring 1 bottle of wine or champagne per person on board in your carry-on.
Question: Is there still warm cookies served in the evening? If so, I can't remember where though.
I just ask my room steward to give me 2 Patters every evening and he does

Sue - Was on SP for 50 days Oct/Nov 2018 & we had the other master Capt. Heikki Laakkonen.
So have no experience of Paolo Ravera but he is well known previously on the Australian Princess ships.
Use search box & some info should come up.
Does anyone know where Capt. Tuvo is? I had heard he was helping out with the Sky

I totally agree with you on how well Princess treats us when an emergency arises. Two years ago I had an accident in Hawaii that required surgery. We had been on a tour when the accident happened. While I was taken to the hospital they brought my husband back to the ship where 3 officers were waiting to help him pack up our things and then took him to the hospital. The care in Hawaii was great and our insurance took are of all our expenses, including having a nurse accompanying me back to the states. Princess kept in touch with us during my hospital stay and continued to keep in touch for some time on my return home.
Bottom line to this story -- always get travel insurance. It is money well spent.
was that Princess insurance or another type

This is very sad, but when you look at the demographics of world cruisers understandable. In 2009 on the world cruise there were often ambulances at the port waiting to take deceased persons. There were a number of deaths, mostly those over 80.
these people look like late 60 or early 70

I wasn’t trying to be rude. My comment was I didn’t know why there was a conflict between the Princess website and the Le Havre port schedule.
I’m not certain how it works, but having the Golden Princess show on the Sydney cruise port schedule after May of 2020 might be a way to hold those dates for P&O after the transfer.

Yep. Anytime, 24 hours a day, you can get cookies & milk at the IC. My husband had a craving at 2 am on our last cruise. Btw, you have to ask for the peanut butter cookies. They are kept in back due to peanut allergies concerns. They're always available, & the counter person is happy to get them for you. 😊
thanks for the tip did not know that

I am going to regret posting this as it will make the line at International Cafe longer, but the almond croissants, especially when fresh out of the oven, are amazing.
I love them also did not post because then everyone will want them. Does anyone know if they have them on the Coral? There IC is very small and I read they have a limited supply of items.

Overall she's in pretty good shape. A little wear and tear here and there, rust and leaky windows, broken seats in the theater, but nothing really major as they are fixing these little things as we go. No engine troubles, no power issues, no real big HVAC issues - just the typical balancing problems.
thank you

Wondering if you can tell me what kind of shape the Coral is in? My friends are boarding when you get off. I know it is going into dry dock in Jan. do you know what they will be doing? I'm going to be doing a 19 day Panama in March. Thanks

My friends leave next Sunday for a 19 day partial Panama and their schedule still shows them going to Nicaragua
Princess 3 for Free sale
in Princess Cruises
Posted
We booked our round trip Alaska from LA for next year under the 3 for free. Then when the landmark sale started our room dropped 500 a person and the 500 each obc more than covered the lost paid gratuities. Since then our room dropped another 100 a person. It saves to keep checking.
