Is it out ? I don't think so but it is one if the best must see for first cruise to Alaska for most people.
The Holland America cruise I mentioned is larger cabins for less cost also if that helps.
Not sure your age but like I stated they claim to be an older crowd I'm in my 40s but still considering it.
If you can go from Vancouver they do go much better route. For me Seattle is only option

Did the jewel last time to Alaska if this is your first time go bliss itenery over joy due to only glascier bay and skagway.
This time I'm looking at Holland America which has less boat activities but they go to Sitka .
Like most stated you won't have allot if ship time like summer location cruises . Alaska cruises are more about the constant sites over ship activities in my opinion.
The slight cost difference in joy and bliss I would pick bliss if you never been. U should start with skagway and glacier Bay or like I said look at Holland America eurodam sitcka and glacier Bay. But I hear the ships are allot more relaxed ( boring)

great thanks but whats the latest I can get off the ship is my question and does customs get worse as time goes or the same

Hi. If I have fttf I was told I can debark the ship in port any time I wish?
If I doing self assist I think it's called where I dont give carnival my bags I carry off myself.
What is usually the latest time you can get off ship.
And is usually the later you disembark the longer the lines are at customs and such.
Just trying to figure out a time for my ride to pick me up
Thanks

I suggest staying somewhere near Universal Studios. It isn't very far from the airport and there are tons of cheap accommodations and plenty of food available within walking distance.
Is there a hotel in Disney or universal that has a free airport shuttle. Or how about an airport hotel that offers free disney springs shuttles.
Or a coca beach hotel offering port shuttle

Thanks everyone. I changed the flight till the next day they did it for free. But I have to get a hotel for one night someplace and a ride from port to the hotel

Booked on breeze in may . Airlines just changed my time to go home from 1pm. To now flight leaves at 1030.
I know it's an hour ride from port to mco. And I should be there 1.5 hr ahead which means I would need to be in my ride back which I have a single car driver picking us up. But it would need to be at 8am. Can we be off the ship by 8 guaranteed or am I screwed only flight that day back to akron ohio. I have fttf also

I u derstand whwn you book like the current promo where 6 things are free one is the drinks promo. The gratuities are added right away so there is no tipping needed unless wanting to tip more at point of sale? Is that correct?
And the main question is there a time limit you must wait till getting a second drink ?
Ir a amt per day ?
Thanks

Great but what about my questions in the first post

How do you pay for bingo games on the ship. Cash if I want?
Obc from room?
Credit card?
Trying to figure what my obc can be spent on drinks. Bingo
Gratuities for ship and that is 1395 a day? Inside cabin.
Casino ?
Gift shop?
Thanks

Thanks for all the opinions. Main reason half is an option is the ports. We really wanna see sitka and the room on the ship is the largest for the price compared to others. Premium balcony room vs aft balcony on ncl.
-
Will be on the breeze inside cabin soon.
Do these newer ship have enough outlets or do you still need to bring a strip?
Thanks

Hello. I have several gift cards for carnival and I want to use them to pay for obc like the gratuities and or beverages bought while cruises.
I want to decide the cards into 2 rooms I have booked and linked together. On same cruise
How do I add them to my obc in each room.
Do I have to wait till on board and go to customer service?
And if so I have fttf so can I go in a different line so I wont wait as long? Thanks

oosterdam or eurodam but mostly oosterdam. No they are not legally kids but they are forever my kids yes One is 22 just finishing college and heading into nursing, and one is 26 and a medical dr. So no they don't wear to work, but there not working, there on vacation. And flights now a days only allow so much weight so you cant bring everything.
I was told from Holland operator consultants that the mini fridges can be emptied so you can store water in them. Also the dress up policy is a internet fad that people like you ( I presume) that wanna dress up on vacations. Official rule of Holland as stated to me by Holland is:
Gala night kaki slacks and a button color shirt at least and is how most are dressing now.
Non gala nights at least jeans and no shorts
rest of areas and or buffet any way you want to dress is fine. yoga pants and a sweatshirt in buffet or casino or a show is fine.

One sea day I think. First day

Thank you for your input. I looked at. Carnival Alaska but they sail on a Tues to Tues and for my job that's not an option.
I think from what I am seeing hal will be just fine.
-
Maybe you can give some reasons you feel this way?
-
Hello. I was told the dress code is only for the dining. But everything I read online states it's for everywhere in the evening.
Is this true?
Or can my young 25 yr old children were sweatshirts and yoga pants in the evening for shows casino or just walking around. I understand for all food including buffet they must wear min jeans?
Thanks

New to holland. Was looking into an alaksa cruise but do not know anything about holland. Past cruises have been carnival ( which is a little rowdy with booze for us) NcL which was ok but kinda boring.
We like carnival cuz the shows and comedy shows and day activities like bingo.
Was worried holland may be a little to boring or slow for a lack of a better word.
We are 50 and kids with us in 20s.
Not real drinkers or outgoing but love shows and bingo not really bars.
Does this ship offer daily bingo and little daytime shows and such and at night a Broadway show or magic or comedy . Somthing other then music in a bar.
And dress. Can I wear khaki pants and a polo shirt to dinner except on gala note of course.
Kids have to wear slacks at dinner or can they wear the new fad yogi pants and a top?
Do they sell bottle water to purchase before hand so we can have water in room like a case ?
Is there empty fridges on board in rooms or are they stocked
Ships seem small is there alot of movement on them ? Since so small?
Any I site or things you can share I would be grateful
Hertz Auto rental times at port
in Florida Departures
Posted
Hello. I was thinking of getting off the ship with fttf as soon as possible and taking the Hertz shuttle to the astronut location and renting a car which I would already have reserved and driving to Disney Land
My questions are is the shuttle service swift. Or do you wait along time at port to leave waiting to fill up and how large are the shuttles
After getting to rental lot how crowded is it and does it take a long time like an hour or less
I think there is two ships coming when breeze which is me and a Disney ship
And if we miss the shuttle because it to full how long do you wait for the next one at port
Thanks
