We will be having that same feeling later this week :D !

My understanding is that if you are Elite you will receive one automatically. As of yesterday, the Princess website does not show that it is available to order.
We are Platinum and have always received an Atlas as part of our Captain Circle benefits.

Progressive boarding times are suggested, not mandatory.
We usually arrive around 10:30 and are on by 11:30. Been doing it since our first cruise.
We also arrive at the Port about 10:30am and on board between 11:30am to 12:00

We've been holding off on booking a 2017 Mediterranean cruise until this promotion kicks in. I just noticed that the prices increased $100 pp in the last couple of days. I guess there is no free lunch.
We noticed the price for our cruise for Oct 2017 increased by $100 pp too.

Back to normal:D
Normal website here too :) .

Thanks for explaining.
Hope the TRUE 14 Day Caribbean cruises will be a big success and Princess will continue to offer them. :)

That is what we are hoping for too. We have the October 2017 Circle Caribbean already booked as soon as the cruise was available.

Good to hear you are having a great cruise on the Caribbean Princess!
-
I don't think it means that. I certainly plan on rebooking a cruise or two if the overall financial package is better this way than through the Sip & Sail. The OBC and grats add up to pretty good money. Just have to see what the fares look like.
Jim
That is what we plan on doing too.

Since MAJESTIC PRINCESS was built for and designed specifically for the CHINESE market, and the demographic and interests of that particular market (and not those of 'Westerners'), with features (restaurants and activities) that would be attractive towards that market, what were the poor decisions Princess Cruises made?
Just curious.
Hi Dave! Great to see you posting again. Hope all has been fine with you. We also agree that the ship was built for the Chinese market.

We brought along a case of water last year on the Coral Princess with a couple of luggage tags taped to the case. This year will probably buy it online before the cruise.
-
Nice looking video of the ship!

Go without your DH and enjoy! The Fish & Chips have always been good!
We love the fish and chips too :D !

I just signed on to the website, connected right away and was able to view my cruises. Working for us just now.

As others have said, probably 15 minutes but even that can mess up the flow of your waitstaff. They often times will pick up orders for several tables sat once. You should really show up at your scheduled time, eat at the buffet or switch to Anytime dining IMHO.
Totally agree......... we changed to Anytime Dining a long time ago because it works better for us anyway.

$2500 could pay for a whole separate cruise!

Totally agree!!

Thanks for the excellent pictures and review.

Hi Nancy!
I sailed in a "sideways" inside on Royal last year. Can I just say it's one of my favorite cabins ever?
One wall is the bed with two night stands on either side. The other wall is a long desk/dresser combo with mirror and the TV.
Behind that are wide, deep shelves plus the normal cabinet with shelves and the safe.
Across from that is the closet, divided into two sections.
We actually had MORE storage space in our inside cabin than my mother had in her balcony.
The bathroom was just the same as the one in her balcony.
IMHO...sideways cabins rock :)

We have a sideways inside booked on the Royal Princess for November. Always wanted to stay in one of them. Thanks everyone for the feedback and to Pam for the pictures!

Fritz, there appears to be some miscommunication here. The cruise Anna and I are booked on is a 14-day Circle Caribbean on the Caribbean Princess, sailing on March 18. It does not return to FLL at any time between March 18 and the end.
The thread you refer to is just another mess. When the question was asked, there WERE (and still are) true 14-day Caribbean cruises. But the recent posters didn't seem to get the memo that the precept of the thread had been debunked a few posts into it. There ARE true 14-day Caribbean itineraries, and the March 18 Caribbean Princess is one of them.
Jim
Sorry! I didn't read your post closely, and I didn't realize that the 2018 Caribbean sailings were available.Princess also has a true 14 day Circle Caribbean October 7, 2017 too. Looking forward to that great itinerary.

They must be correcting the problem as the Princess web site as of right now is finally working correctly on our computer.
I was able to connect correctly a few moments ago. Yesterday our 2 cruises that are booked was not showing up and I refreshed the same page then our cruises showed up.
-
Thanks for taking the time to do a Live Report.
-
We would choose the cruise based on the itinerary you would enjoy the most. Both ships we have cruised on and would do so again.
-
Buy more than one at a time. They're good for 2 years, fully refundable if not used and you never know when you'll want to do a B2B :D
Excellent advice.................we always buy extra FCDs during the cruise.

Thanks need2cruisesoon for the updated pictures.

Thanks for a very detailed review of your cruise. Very helpful!
