When I look up excursions based on destination, not through my booking, there are 57. When I look through booking there are only 50. So hopeful the last 7 will come up soon because one of them is the one we want.
We have been looking up under destinations too which shows excursions for 1 Port(Martinique) of our 2 Ports not listed yet for purchase for our Sunshine cruise for Feb 2016. Tobago is not even listed under destinations maybe because Carnival does not go there often and they are finalizing contracts with tour operators in Tobago. Maybe then, that Port will be listed under destinations.

A suite would be nice, but why? It isn't worth the extra money . I'd rather use the money for another cruise.
Totally agree.
-
We will see you on that cruise, that's the 2nd leg of our B2B. :D
See you there :) !
-
We are doing our first B2B on the Vista 1-14-17...........a very long way off. Really looking forward to this cruise.

We check at least 3 times a day to see if anything has changed with the cruises we was getting ready to book. Even then, we could miss the one time it did change.

Spoke with the boss. He said I could not go. Not very pleased right about now. Going to speak with HR tomorrow. If that does not work, plan to escalate to corporate. The least they should do is reimburse my cousin and me for the price of the trip.
Sorry your boss is being like that to you. Sounds like your boss is on an ego trip thinking being in that position, they can do whatever they want to do to show the power he/she has  .
Hope HR can get things right for you, then Corporate like you said.

Congrats on your choice! Enjoy your cruise.

Congrats on your Ocean Suite!

Our PVP has always been able to get the cabin we want as long as it is available even though it did not show available online.
-
Just think of it this way, if you book early saver and don't get any price drops, that means you've booked the lowest price possible for your cruise
That is what happened to us for our Sunshine cruise. What we paid is the lowest price because the price has only went up since the cruise became available to book.

Yes, we saw where JH said no longer could soda be brought onboard from the Ports. Thanks for the reminder.
-
We have never seen a soda machine either on any of the ships we have been on. Maybe they are starting to put soda machines back on the ships?

I would pick the Aruba, Curacao, Grand Turk cruise for the Ports & having an extra sea day would be a plus for us. That is the cruise we would enjoy. All depends on what you have interest in doing.

Although it may seem petty to some, I can understand. Everybody has their "addictions" and "must haves". IMHO, people saying that they won't cruise Carnival because they are not allowed to bring their drink of choice anymore is not any more of a joke than people saying that they won't cruise Carnival because they can't smoke their cigarette of choice in their balconies.
Excellent point. For me, my choice is Diet Mountain Dew and with only being able to bring 12 pack at embarkation, my 13 day Sunshine cruise will be longer than my supply of Dew. But I will survive ;) .
Regarding Princess, we cruise both Carnival & Princess and are happy with each cruise line.

We have not brought any snacks on board. If we see anything in the buffet for late night munchies, fruit/cookies, we would take some back to the cabin.

2 ships full time, with Miracle doing 7 day runs again.
Will be great to have 2 ships back at Tampa with one ship doing longer voyages.

Tell DH if he can keep up with me I'm going to Red Frog Bar....first one gets free drink and pics up for the week...then we go to Lido and get our drinks on....
That's right............. forgot about getting to the Red Frog Bar first :D .

Love swim up bars. I wish more ships had them.
Winddawn...........thanks for posting that video.
Agree about the swim up bars. I cruised with one on the Star Princess back in 1996, not the Star Princess that is being operated now.

Just got off the July 12th sailing and we were in the Renoir dining room. We talked to a bunch of people on board and everyone who had YTD was in the Renoir... And it was only the lower section of the Renoir. Upper part of the dining room was still seated dinner.
Didnt meet one person who had YTD in the other dining room...
Thanks for that info. Will be on Conquest in December :) .

Had the same thing happen about 2 years ago. Resulted in my taking a little early retirement and now we can cruise 5-6 times a year. I was told that I would have to replace myself to be off. It ended with the conversation of "No, now you'll have to replace me". Felt awesome also!
I would have loved to see the expression on their face when you said that! Priceless :D !

We go to our cabin, drop off our carry-on baggage. Then get something to eat & get drink, explore ship. Couple of times, our luggage was delivered when we passed by our cabin & then unpacked.

hot pretzels.... maybe they could be put by the pizza area....yumAnother vote for nachos… With real melted cheese; not that cheese whiz crap
Both of these would be good while at the bar & having the munchies ;) .
