Any recommendations for Nassau with a 2 year old? (2.5) I’m anxious about transportation and if she would need a car seat. What have others done that worked well?? 

We did the everglades excursion last time- It was fine. But I used to live in Florida so had done the airboat/everglades many times. My husband who had never done it enjoyed it a lot more. You will have plenty of time to make your flight!

Yes. What we had was like a patio. It was HUGE. I didn't see a lot of other ones when we were sitting on ours though. Nice room though :)

I don't know if they all do or not. We had a balcony with chairs. It didn't look like all the rooms had it so I'm not sure!!

We stayed there for our conquest cruise last year. It was VERY reasonably priced and nice to have the shuttle pick us up at MIA and then bring us to the cruise ship. There were several times available to choose from.

 

Room was nice-- we had a nice balcony with chairs where we could watch planes land! We liked that.

 

Continental breakfast...um I didn't care for it but it's included!

 

Be aware of the hotel bar. SUPER expensive. Plus the drinks we had were not made very well.

 

I would definitely stay again!

I would try John Heald. For our honeymoon though we were sitting with 3 other couples ( right around our age) also on their honeymoon! Was fun!

I have not been on Glory but we have done Fascination and Conquest (similar to glory). If time was not an issue hands down would choose Glory. However it's up to you whether you are looking for a 7 day... Kinda sounds like you want the shorter cruise? Fascination is great-- just not as much to offer. Belize and mahogany bay are great ports!! We had so much fun there!

It's wonderful!! We did it on our honeymoon. I sat right next to my husband and it was such a great experience. The service is outstanding... They do everything they can to ensure it is a fabulous night. That free flowing wine is a perk too ;)

We have booked. We are jumping ship. Instead of the October carnival sunshine cruise we are going to try out celebrity. Too good of a deal to pass on and the free drink package was such a bonus. Now to change my signature.

I think we will give it a shot!! We are pretty easy to please people and celebrity sounds great to me. If anything it gives us more options when picking a cruise in the future as well! Thanks for all the input

Mitsugirly-- brunch is in place of breakfast in the MDR. They have breakfast/lunch items on the menu and you can order either. It's a sit down meal. The menu will be the same for all sea days.

Thanks for the information- I think Celebrity would be perfect for me! My husband however likes the party atmosphere quite a bit! Trying to figure out what is best for us!

Okay- so my husband and I are 25. We have only sailed with Carnival. We enjoy Carnival a lot and have a lot of fun! We have a cruise booked with them coming up and I am sure we will enjoy it.

Now we have a cruise on hold with Celebrity on Summit. I have only done minimal research on it but know it's an older ship. We enjoy the older ships on Carnival just fine so not an issue. I am just not sure if we will like Celebrity? I've honestly never thought about it before but we saw a GREAT deal. It is on a Caribbean cruise-- 6 nights. So what do you like best about Celebrity? Can those who have sailed and enjoy Carnival tell me their thoughts? We do enjoy the nightlife on Carnival and the energy! But-- we are not picky people and totally open to change! And for such a good deal...why not!

That happened to me on my last cruise with the excursions -- carnival tech support was able to reset my account. I tried their suggestions first and kept on it when nothing worked! They reset my account and all was fixed!

There were 2 nights the chefs table was offered on our conquest cruise in October. Great meal-- totally worth the 75pp. You will love it!
