  1. I received my FCC last  night for an April 3rd sailing. Exactly the same experience as others stated. I called Royal because I had a Next Cruise Certificate which I applied towards the April sailing. Previously I was told any perks associated with the NCC were lost, but when I called today I was told they could be used on my next cruise.  We will see!

  2. I asked my TA but they do not have an answer for me yet. I was scheduled to take a cruise on April 3rd. I decided to take the 125%. However,  on a February 2020 sailing I purchased a Next Cruise Certificate which was applied to the April 3rd sailing. My question is did I lose the benefits associated with the NCC?  My TA thinks it's gone, but not too sure. I was advised to wait and see.

Has anyone else run into this yet?

    Thanks, Mary

So my husband travels to Orlando where company he works for is headquartered, usually likes to fly in day early to explore.  They told him he can transfer there anytime so we are the in beginning stages of possibly, maybe, kind of considering it but would have to be Cocoa Beach or somewhere close, guess it’s about an hour away.  No way would we live in Orlando, any suggestions besides Cocoa Beach for us to check out?  We are planning a trip early next year to do look around.

  4. Merion_Mom,

Haha, I would never even consider it! Not that crazy about doing laundry.

If I do wash & fold, would I have enough time on a 6 day (1st week) cruise to get my stuff back?

I was not sure w&f was offered on a cruise shorter than 7 days. We have to change cabins for the second week if that make a difference.

  5. Hi,

I will be going on a b2b on the Adventure next month and I have a question regarding laundry service.  The cruise is a total of 14 days with breakout being 6 days/8 days.  Will I have enough time to turn around laundry the first week? I'm trying to keep packing relatively light.

    Thanks,

    MaryW

  6. We were on the Empress last month for 8 days and just booked again for 6 days in August. We love the smaller ships. However, no diamond event as previously mentioned, just drinks loaded on your card. Also, not many areas to have a meal, just the main dining room, Windjammer and Chops. We did have breakfast daily in Chops. The Schooner is very large and Boleros is really nice.

  7. Just off the Empress this past Sunday. We were due in to Miami at 7:30am. Unfortunately, there was a medical emergency Saturday night which caused us to make an unplanned stop in Nassau.

Pushed us back by three hours. Didn't disembark until 11:30am.

    So, no. Stuff happens.
