I went back to the cabin to work on pictures for a while. Patti went out to do a little exploring. Here is the Library Bar on Deck 5 minus all of the artwork that was there yesterday….. Here are a couple of views of the inside Havana Bar. See Greg, we have chairs at the bar on this ship! Around 10am I went out to the Havana Area to have a few Bloody Mary’s with my new friend Jendra….. Here are a few Havana Area views….. Every once in a while they come around with some frozen fruit. Nice touch! To be continued…..

Day # 2- (April 15th) – Fun Day at Sea # 1. We were up at 6:30am to what is going to be a warm sunny day…… Here are today’s Fun Times….. I got dressed and went back to the Havana Area to grab a few sunrise pictures….. From there I made my way to the Ocean Plaza Bar to get my morning coffee from Setyo. I met Beth & Mark there and we chatted for a while. The Diamond Lunch is later on this morning, and since Patti and I could bring guests, we asked them if they wanted to join us. We were delighted when they said yes….. To be continued…..

I guess people like to line up. 14 days on the Vista and I never got a coffee from Java Blue, always at the Ocean Plaza Bar. 😃

Wishing him the best though Tampa is not the best place to be making your Major League debut. 😎

We've stayed in the 4J cabins 4 or 5 times. Loved the cabins but stopped booking them after a pretty rough cruise. 😎

That's the bow cutting through the waves, the one drawback with the those up front cabins.😎

Thanks for coming aboard. We hope that Ann has fully recovered. The Country Inn & Suites in Kingsland Georgia is about 25 minutes from Jaxport. It is where we always stay when cruising from there. It's tough to have foot problems when you are on your feet all day. Hopefully it won't get any worse. We're looking forward to seeing you guys on the Valor next year. 😎

So sorry that you have foot issues. Patti has had quite a few cortisone shots and tried all types of footwear with very little success. Her foot doctor said the real solution would require plates and screws, but she would have to give up her job which she doesn't want to do. It may come to that some day, but for now all she wants is some pain relief. Pain meds don't even touch it. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on her progress. 😎

Patti catches the Accidental String Trio….. The current Dreamscape….. Patti takes some shots of an empty Liquid Lounge….. In the meantime I head to the Limelight Lounge for a comedy show starring Randy Lubas. He wasn’t bad for a PG show. I gave him an 8 out of 10…. Afterwards, I made it back to the cabin for the night. Today’s Cheers scorecard: Patti = 5, Jeff = 14. For the day and cruise (+7). Coming up next: It’s great to be back out at sea!

We made our way back to the cabin where we found that all of our luggage had arrived. After unpacking we made our way over to Bonsai Sushi for dinner…. I started with the Miso Soup and Patti had the Edamame…… Patti had the California Roll and I had a Bang Bang Roll and Meat Skewers….. Afterwards, Patti said she was going to check out the shops and then head back to the cabin to read, while I went over to the Alchemy Bar for a couple of Pain Reliefs….. To be continued….

It’s a beautiful day at the beach….. Patti zooms in on the Cocoa Beach Pier….. We are out to sea….. We’re hanging out at the Havana Area Bar….. To be continued……

We are now sailing past the Wonder OTS…… We are sailing through the channel….. Looking up at the aft cabins from the Havana Area…. Hope the guy in the back doesn’t lean back or they’re going down! We are now sailing past Jetty Park….. To be continued……

Patti pops into the Red Frog Pub & Brewery…… Patti runs into Beth & Mark there, so she comes up to the Red Frog Rum Bar to get me. We hung out together having a few drinks…. After a while we noticed that the ship was moving, so we parted ways and made our way back to the Havana Area to watch the sail away. By the time we got outside we were already past Fishlips and passing Grill’s…… Looking back at the MSC Seashore….. To be continued…..

Patti heads back down to Deck 5. She checks out Piano Bar 88. Roger will be the Piano Man for both of our cruises….. Across the way is the Library Bar. It’s currently being used by the Art Gallery….. Heading aft she passes Bonsai Sushi. We will be eating here later tonight….. Across the way is the Alchemy Bar…… Further aft is the Pixels Gallery….. To be continued……

I love it when you have two sea days heading back. That first one is very relaxing!

Patti moves forward on Deck 5 and comes to the Ocean Plaza…… A little further forward on Deck 5 is Java Blue….. Moving forward on Deck 5, Patti checks out Fahrenheit 555. We will be eating here later in the week….. Patti takes the mid ship elevator up to Deck 11. She finds the entrance to Camp Ocean….. Clinton is playing the steel drums for the Beach Pool crowd….. This is our Room Steward. He did a great job for us during our two weeks aboard the Vista….. This is our Havana letter which also included our red wristbands for our Havana Area access…… Patti is going to continue her picture walk, while I am going to head up to the Red Frog Rum Bar. Patti checks out the seating in the Havana Bar area…… To be continued…..

It is now 1:30pm so we head down to check out our cabin. Here’s the hallway to our cabin….. Our Sail & Sign cards are in our mailbox, but our luggage has not yet arrived….. Here is Cabin # 5214……. Hey! We have writing on our mirror too! We feel special! Typical Carnival bathroom….. Not much closet space but sufficient for our use….. Our television welcome and itinerary….. To be continued…..

After checking out that cabin we decided that it's not for us. Don't like the location of the television.
