  1. ACK!

    A scale??!!

This....THIS is a cruiser's worst nightmare. Certainly THIS is worse than the number 13.

And yet...RCI doesn't care about people with obesophobia or gravitophobia...(real words, btw - and also fun to type!)

I demand compensation. Or at least, some OBC.

OMG - LOL!!!! truly laughing out loud!!! you are the best :-)

  2. Not to be sexist, but I bet you would draw less suspicion that I would. :o I can feel stares just walking by the Flowrider with a camera. FYI, I mentioned being an empty nester, I did find out grandchild number 1 is on the way, so pics of me playing in any H20 Zone are at least 5-10 years away.

I believe that is RC's equivalent to a lazy river. But due to its size, I would have to try it out late one night for the reasons outlined above.

my boys call it the "washing machine"

  3. alright! so now I want a cabanna!!

so i just went to try to reserve a cabanna for our Feb 24th sailing and it says "inquire on board." Does anyone know if that means they are all booked and if there is a cancelation they will know on board, OR do they keep a few available to actually be booked on board?

    Final Approach

Over a few hours my son's and I finished off a few buckets of beer (6 Bud Lite for $15), a few Mojito's, pizza (very good) and some finger foods. Watched a bunch of planes come in for landing and had a very good time. It was very funny as when I saw a plane approaching I would say "plane" jump out of my seat and go take a picture. My younger son remembering the movie UP, starting yelling "Squirrel" to make fun of me, it was very funny.:)

unbelievable!!! hopefully the peeps that got blown away in that one shot learned their lesson and found a new location to watch from! oh my ~

  5. I thank you so much for this review...I am getting so anxious more yet to look at these pictures. I will be on the Allure in Oct on the deck 12 ...2 rooms back from the back of the ship. My question do you think you can see the aqua theater show from the balcony good...or is there a obstruction to it? I keep looking forward to your review!

you will not be able to see the aqua theatre from you balcony - i have been in the cabin next to yours (on the end). BUT the good news is that there is a door that leads out to a large public deck at the very end that provides very nice, and almost private seating(!), of the aqua theatre. (this is port side)

  6. Thank you very much. I see you are sailing on the Allure in Feb. I know you will enjoy your cruise. Are you doing the East or West Carib?

we are doing Western ~ my mom (with whom I am traveling in Feb) thought it might be a tad bit warmer, although I prefer the ports you are going to. I did Eastern on Oasis summer of '11 and my kids & I had a great time in St. Thomas at a little cove resort called Secret Harbor. AND we had a great day sailing in St Maarten :-) I think I'mm going to have to fly to St. Thomas just to stay at the Ritz!
