Thank you for your nice reply. The excursion should be finished at 11:30am so we have two more hours till all aboard (Breakaway departure at 2:30).

I like the idea of hiring a driver for a short island tour, do you think we have time for a short walk at brewers bay? Is this the closest beach to the port (if I remember right, it should be a 20minutes drive)?

Dear all,

This December will be our first time at Tortola and we will go there with Norwegian Breakaway on a Friday from 7am to 2:30pm.

As it's our first time at this island we are planning to visit the Baths. We've read already a lof of threads about going there and are still not 100% sure if we should do it on our own or book the NCL excursion (without swimming from the boat to the Baths)....

As we haven't been there before and time is quite short we might go with the NCL excursion (4 1/2 hours, starting at 7am). If so, we would have some time before leaving Tortola. Any tipps what to do after the excursion?

Finally, does anybody know if Norwegian Breakaway will dock in December or do we have to tender?

Hi all,

For our 12day cruise in November we were able to upgrade from a BD balcony to B1 with an even lower price :)

This will be our second cruise with NCL and the first time with an aft facing balcony :D We have stateroom 11912, does anybody have a picture of that particular cabin? Is the bed by closet or by balcony?

I've read some comments concerning that stateroom on Getaway, is it the same on BA?

Yes, we've considered that, but we prefer bed by balcony configuration and as far as I saw that cabin has the bed by the closet.

Dear all,

I've searched the forum but did not find any specific information regarding my request.

I am planning to sail with Norwegian Breakaway 12 days to Southern carribean and would like to sail in a BD balcony stateroom (bed by balcony).

If am right staterroom 10278 should be one with the bed by the balcony configuration. Has anybody sailed in that specific cabin and can tell me anyhting about the noise level (seems to be where the stairways are).

May you have any recommendation regarding BD cabins that I should consider on the Breakaway?

Just back from our first NCL cruise with the Norwegian Epic through the West Mediterranean, which was really great.

Due to that fact we are already looking for another cruise with NCL in the future :). Probably this time with the Breakaway 12 nights from NY to the Southern Caribbean.

After checking prices I saw some of the cabins/categories have limited availability respectivley family balcony staterooms have a good price-performance ratio (price vs. location on ship).

As we are quite new to NCL: is it allowed to book for two persons a family balcony stateroom too or is there some kind of a limit, that e.g. only 4 people are able too book that kind of stateroom?
