I guess we're slackers. Usually only one or two. I just retired last August so work was always a factor. At this point we have 3 booked. A 28 day, a 14 day, and a 49 day. I guess if we took shorter cruises we might have more booked at once.

Your choice of cruises is similar as us. We started cruising a few years back.... our very 1st cruise was 7 days to Alaska on Sept 1st. Then we got hooked so as soon as we came home we booked a 15 day to Hawaii from SF early October. Our 3rd cruise was 28 days to South Pacific round trip from LA in late October. Our 4th cruise was 31 days to South America. I wanted to stay on the ship as long as possible Lol. We prefer longer cruise days.

I was on CC trying to find out the interest percentages when I read about the double points mess up, and sure enough we didn't get ours also.

 

the phone was answered by a manager!!, who promptly issued my earned credit to my statement (another issue)

 

They are aware of the points issue, and while she couldn't change it right away, did send in an inquiry. Apparently, there is a glitch in how the Princess transactions are being read.

You are welcome. Glad to be of help. I must be one of few who called early enough for them to take care of right alway (add the extra points manually as "adjustment points"). It seems to me they had problems with FCC purchases on May statement. My last April/May cruise shows double points for the stateroom account. But not double points for the $1000 FCC on board purchase. When I brought up the issue they give me the extra 1000 points while talking to them.

There are a few numbers in the US you can call, I called 866-928-3106 and they took care of the matter in a second.

1. What promotion? Do you mean the princess sale? All of my purchases with princess have received double points until the last one 5/5/17. Barclay says to see if correct on next statement due Monday. If not they will dispute the points (with princess?). Who knows what is happening!

Happen to me also. All I had to do is to call them and the representative was shocked to hear that I only got 1 points for princess purchases and he apologized and added extra points and told me to check my website for the correction. It only took a minute to solve the problem. If you call the call center located out of the country that will take longer. You need to call the US office.

We just got off the Majestic and laundry service took only a day or two to get back to your cabin. We had roughly 360 Elite on board this cruise

One question I have, since there is no ice cream parlor (gelato) on the Majestic Princess, does this mean the coffee card is only good for specialty coffee or tea and nothing else?

No real dance floor - just re-using the area in front of the bar and at the sides around the pool. Mostly just seen people standing holding drinks and chatting on the busiest nights - as there are no seats.

Sounds like it's what the Regal calls (Miami style?) night club theme. They have it once or twice on each Caribbean cruise. They move the night club spot from Club 6 to the retreat pool.

The good thing is Majestic is covered by the pool area when it's windy.

Now they are using a Hollywood pool as the nightclub to substitute Club 6 after 10PM. I was wondering do they have a dance floor set up by then or do they have an area to dance?

I received an e mail yesterday about the same changes on my April 30 2017 on the Majestic P.

Our current cruise is 10-day . Unfortunately we completed our last port of call yesterday in St Kitts and we are on our way back .

Thank you so much for the info about the package deal. We are doing 20 days (B/B) on Royal on Dec.29 2016. Hope they continue to offer the great deal!

They are trying a new photo package on Royal this week where you can get all the photos you have taken for a flat $49 including digital copies on a memory stick they give you.

 

They are still working out the bugs in the system , so people should be a patient and just go with it . Consider that for the the price of a couple of 8x10 you can have almost unlimited amount of photos . I wish they would have had this on our past European cruise and I hope that guests instead of complaining as I some have because of the occasional waiting times they just appreciate what a great deal it is .

We just received an offer of a life time to do a move over. We have completed many cruises over the years. We were to leave later this month for an 18 day cruise. Originally booked basic balcony, and several months later received free upgrade to mini suite. New offer is to give up booking, in return received free up to 35 day cruise of our choice and an additional free 7 day cruise of our choosing. Also total refund of money paid in OBC's those not spent on first free cruise will be refunded. Also $200 each for each cruise and up grade to any suite available on both free cruises. We jumped on it, have already booked a 28 day cruise and our cabin is one of the penthouses. Feels like we won a lottery. What was a $9,000 plus cruise for two is now a $34,000 plus get a way. At first we found it hard to believe, but paperwork has come through. So keep the Hope.

We did this on Oct.2013 and it's one of our favorite cruises. You will love this one. Loved bora-Bora and Moorea. We meet so many wonderful cruise friends. Yes, there is lots of sea days! 9 sea days straight from Tahiti to LA it was the longest but they had so many activities and classes kept us busy running around the ship.:)

I received 3 e-mails about an increase of gratuity for my cruises sailing after Dec.15.

If you are talking about Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the seas, I'm not sure if their loyalty program is the same as Princess.

I should have said the Royal Princess Ship.:)
