  1. Are you speaking about the Captain's Circle Loyalty OBC? If yes, then starting with your 21st cruise you will receive Loyalty OBC for each booking number. Book as a single cruise you receive the credit once. Book as two booking numbers and you receive it for each booking. The credit isn't that large:

    cruises 21 to 31 it is $25/cabin*

    cruises 32 to 41 $50/cabin

    cruises 42 to 51 $75/cabin

    cruises 52+ $100/cabin

This is different than elite perks such as internet mins, mini bar set up which you will receive for each leg of the b2b no matter how it is booked.

Thank you for the explanation. Yes, I am talking about the Captain's circle loyalty OBC. In the past I typically book B/B as two bookings.

  2. I am planning on booking a cruise on the Caribbean Explorer on Royal. Before I do, I have a question regarding the Royalty Gift OBC program.

I understand if I book two 10 day cruises, I will receive two Royalty Gift OBC's. However, if I make one booking for 20 days that happen to be B/B 10 days each, could I still receive the two Royalty Gift OBC's? I know I would get 2 cruise points but unsure about the OBC's. Does anyone know?

    Thanks!

  3. Crown princess are using new coffee cards from Feb.5,2016. Old cards still good for punches. They were questioning someone who order brew coffee with the old unpunched card on the 1st day. Showing him the new cards they are using now.

  4. eZair from home to Mexico City and then to Santiago. Valparaiso is 70 miles or so from Santiago. We took public bus for small amount. Taxi to bus station and then taxi in Valparaiso to hotel. eZAIR was by far the cheapest. I just keep checking until I got a good price. The airline was AeroMexico. We were on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner from Mexico City to Santiago. Really nice airplane.

Thank you again for posting helpful information. I really enjoy reading your review. Sounds like you're having a great time.

How was your luggage situation getting on the public bus? Is there a size or quantity limit to get on the public bus?

  5. Just off the Crown Monday...best comedian ever...Oscar Carlos or Carlos Oscar...he is soooo funny. Truly a great act....don't miss it. New material..doesn't talk about the shower size, toilet flushing, tons of food...he had unique, real life comedy.

I totally agree with you. Carlos Oscar is the best.

We were lucky to have him twice.(on Crown and Grand). He is the funniest comedian we ever seen.

  6. Could be the same cruise...28 days RT Los Angeles visiting Hawaii, Samoa, FPolynesia in Oct-Nov 2013 with Billy Hygate as CD. No dancing, no bar service at all late nite in Skywalkers.

We were on that same cruise! We had a wonderful time... met great new cruise friends, enjoyed the beautiful itinerary, the list goes on and on... but it would have been even better if they opened the Skywalker late night. Since we had 19 sea days on that cruise I was shocked to learn they never intended to open Skywalker since Day 1. It was a shame not to use such a nice venue.

We were going to book on Ruby for 49 day South America but I learned that Billy Hygate will be the CD on that cruise. We really enjoyed 28 days on South Pacific Islands without Skywalker but not sure about 49 days in South America without it. LOL!

  7. Everyone have to Leave the ship in the morning. You will be going to designated area.
