Anyone else heard anything about two medical emergencies evacuated by helicopter on Seaview's crossing from Brazil? Someone posted a video on Youtube.

Only 52 minutes. I guess I don't have the record.
-
I waited 45 minutes on hold and finally hung up yesterday. I am 35 minutes and counting today. What's your longest time on hold?

Sailing on Seaview in a few weeks. I will report back on what is included.

While I was deciding whether to actually book or not, it has disappeared from my offerings as well.
-
I noticed that some of the excursions listed for our Seaview in April are now gone. Not sure if they are full or they are not being offered any more. Can't imagine they would be full already.

We loved the YC so much last year, we booked again for this April on Seaview. I echo all the positive sentiments others have said about it on other threads. It is the best of both worlds: an exclusive product with many included amenities, on a megaship without all of the drawbacks of sailing a meagaship. I love sitting by the pool, but don't love having to scavenge for loungers or sign out towels. This was never a problem at the pool in the YC. I also loved being able to avoid the crowded lines that are always present on other large ships whether waiting to get in to the dining room for late seating because the early seating runs late as we did on Majestic Princess, waiting for a table to open up for anytime dining as we did nightly on Carnival Sunshine, or waiting in a long line at Guest Services on Celebrity Silhouette to figure out what happened to our drink packages because they were not applied to our cards on boarding. I have cruised since I was 10 years old and am now in my mid 40's. I love cruising. I just think that the YC offers a superb experience for those looking to sail the larger ships with a higher level of service and access to amenities. It will be hard to sail any other way in the future.

We didn't do this on our Meraviglia sailing in the YC last year. Don't plan on doing it this year either when we sail Seaview in April.

We are planning to book the Borgo of Framura bike excursion when we are on the Seaview in April. It looks like the views will be amazing along the trail. Fingers crossed for us too!
-
We had both of our originally booked tours cancelled (bike tours in Barcelona and Marseille) when we sailed Meravigilia last April.
-
Jean Phillipe wasn't included on Meraviglia when we were on in YC this past April, so not so sad about Venchi if it's not included on our Seaview in April
-
Now we just need for some of us to get on board to actually see how it is playing out. I'm more curious about the European sailings. I'll be in YC on Seaview in April.

There will have to be some clarification at some point of what is included when outside of Yacht Club given there aren't asterisks on the menu anymore. When I read "Unlimited complimentary beverages in all MSC Yacht Club areas, the mini-bar in your suite, and in all bars and restaurants of the ship (according to the drink selections available in the different venues)"one could think that anything on the menu would be included.
-
So is Venchi going the way like John Phillipe chocolate on Mervaviglia? Nothing there (gelato, coffees etc.) was included on our YC sailing this past April.
-
Do we know what Facebook page people are posting this to? I've searched, but haven't come across anything.

I don't know about you guys, but I just can't see how honoring old packages which had different drink inclusions and prices is going to logistically play out on all of these upcoming cruises? I'm guessing over the course of a week there will be upwards of 50-60 drink swipes per person that will have to be altered one by one times how many 100s of guests who booked packages prior to the changes. Happy we are sailing YC in April which will hopefully shield us from some of the nonsense I am sure will ensue. Guest services will be slammed nonstop.

We were on Meraviglia in April. We prepaid a tour for Marseille that didn't wind up running once we were onboard. They told us it didn't run because the bikes were not available. Our money was refunded onboard which we used towards a replacement tour.

Anyone try to log in to the MSC web site lately and immediately asked to change their password?

We were in YC on Meraviglia out of Genoa this past April. We enjoyed all meals in the Yacht Club restaurant. There were many nights where I ordered more than one appetizer including an appetizer portion of the risotto or pasta. We also enjoyed lunches at the Grille on the YC pool deck. We ordered room service pizza before going to bed 2 nights which as also great. We're returning to Seaview this coming April and looking forward to enjoying everything Yacht Club again.

We had pre-booked for Barcelona and Marseilles on our cruise in April. We were going to be using motorized ebikes for both. The Barcelona option disappeared before we were able to book it and the Marseilles tour was cancelled onboard. When we inquired we were told that Meravigilia was going to carry the bikes on the ship and they had not been delivered yet. The Borgo of Framura Bike ride tour option for Seaview in La Spezia doesn't mention motorized bikes, so I am hopeful that it will run.
-
Has anyone taken the Borgo of Framura and Bike ride MSC tour offered in La Spezia? I was wondering what the bikes were like. We were on Meraviglia in April and none of the bike tours we prepaid for went ahead once we were on board. We'll be on Seaview this April. We're also looking at the bike tour while in Barcelona.

Thanks for the information. Does Yacht Club give priority for tenders?

Will be sailing Seaview Yacht Club next Spring. Wondering about proximity of access from where the ship docks into Corsica, Cannes, La Spezia, and Palma de Mallorca. Is it walkable? Is there a shuttle? We've been to Barcelona and Civitevecchia before so we are familiar getting into town from there.

Anyone know if decks 19 and 20 will be finished. The current deckplan on the MSC web site goes to 18, but when you click on summer 2019 they list decks 19 and 20. Wondering about the Yacht club pool deck.
Just off Seaview.....
