We'll be sailing on Koningsdam in a few weeks and am wondering what the seating options are... We (2) prefer to share a table with another couple. It seems we cannot request anything prior to our sail date? What about the early/late dining request?

 

Does anyone know how they assign seats for dinner?

The sharing part is just ridiculous!

 

My partner has a medical issue and cannot drink any soda. Does anyone know if I could let them know about the medical condition so that we don't have to share at all?

 

Also, can I drink coffee anywhere on the ship or just at the Exploration's Café?

This will be our first cruise with HAL! We already sailed with MSC, Norwegian and Celebrity (Reflection).

 

We will sail on the Ms Koningsdam, their newest ship.

 

Just wondering how the food and entertainment is compared to the other lines? What is included and how much are the beverage packages? I looked on their website, but didn't find much information.

I do need some feedback from experts! :-)

 

We are about to book our 4 th cruise and are considering the Holland America Line. We cruised before with the MSC Divina, Norwegian and sailed on the Celebrity Reflection as well. We consider the Celebrity Reflection as the most upscale cruise we did so far.

 

How would you compare HAL to Celebrity? The ms Koningsdam looks like a brilliant new ship! What is included with HAL (food, etc) and how about beverage packages?

What is up with the itineraries for July 2015? When will we know where the ship is sailing next summer? In Asia, i know, but where? How long? :confused:

I talked to the Guest Relations Manager in the elevator while cruising on the Reflection. I am pretty sure he knows what he is talking about...

I do hope to get a simalar cruise experience compared to the Celebrity Reflection!

Just got back from our fabulous mediterranean cruise with the Celebrity Reflection. This was our first cruise with Celebrity and i am looking for another cruise next year.

 

We heard someone talking about 2 new ships they're building.

We enjoyed the Solarium @ the Reflection very much! Don't get me wrong; i LOVE kids but not around the pool on a cruiseship. They run and scream all the time...

Glad to hear that Royal has adults only areas too!

I heard that Royal has more children on board, but i spoke with a manager on the Celebrity Reflection a few days ago and he told me that there were about 600 kids on the ship... Does Royal has "adults only" areas on their ships?

Just got back from our fabulous 10 night mediterranean cruise with the Celebrity Reflection. Time to think about our next cruise :-)

I was thinking about the Quantum of the Seas but i am unable to verify where the ship will be during July 2015? Does anyone of you know?

Also, what are the main differences between the 2 lines/ships?
