Talk to be about the maple syrup. Is it 'maple' syrup (note the quotes) that is really corn syrup flavored with maple. Or is it genuine maple syrup that comes from a tree.
My favorite hotel breakfast is when you make your own belgium waffle (so it is fresh) and the real maple syrup I brought from home. Yes, I travel with a plastic bottle of maple syrup.
I assume I'll want to pack that for the cruise, but if they have the real stuff I won't.
On Anthem that would be a no,they call it “pancake syrup”,this is the reason I ,too ,bring my own. I love the French toast in the MDR!

I believe if you have My Time Dining you can move between the 2 restaurants that are designated, if you have traditional dining you are assigned a table that you keep for the duration in one of the 2 restaurants designated for that!

We are Diamond & always purchase the Deluxe Beverage Package. We each average 10 to 15 drinks a day beginning w/ fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast (we each get 2). We figure 1 specialty coffee (w/ alcohol) mid-morning, couple drinks at lunch, drinks by the pool, cocktails, drinks w/ dinner, after dinner drinks, drinks at the show, etc. This is also the time for us to try out various cocktails and beers - French Martini, Pineapple Martini, etc. without feeling obligated to finish the drink if we don't like it.
Ditto for us, so worth it !

Your TA will notify the Ship your going on of the Speciaty Restaurant perk, you make your reservation at the restaurant of your choice when you board and you should get a bill at the restaurant for $00.00. If you get charged ,Guest Services will take care of it,(speaking from experience ).

Even though it is no longer on the ships,my all time favorite was Portofino’s, but since the question is for now I have to say Chops, then Jamie’s!

Was able to do this last week for our upcoming cruise on the Anthem in January! It was a piece of cake, was even able to get the RCCL beach towel that I thought was no longer available. The “agent” I spoke to was so helpful and knew what he was doing!

Another one we witnessed was when we still had to tender to the port and on our way back(,it happened to be the last one) a woman was running like crazy and just made it on,when we reached the ship and scanned our sea passes alarms went off, here the woman was on the wrong ship, she was suspose to be on the Adventurer ,this was the Explorer! Fortunately for her they were able to tender her back to her ship before it left.

One of the best “pier runners “ was a woman pushing a baby stroller with one hand and a drink(? Alcohol?) in the other running like crazy and the watchers cheering her on!

Broke my little toe on our first cruise in 1998,on the Enchantment of the Seas, because of this very thing! It was happening way back then and I’m still so cautious even now!

The new terminal has improved things from the day of the bus. Now there is a gangway to the ship. There is also a parking garage.
That’s correct, parking garage used to be great till they raised the price per day (we usually sail the 11 night in January) now we Uber to the port!

Anyone know if the RCCL logo towel is available?
-
#1 is Bayonne(only 45 minutes from house)
#2 is Port Canaveral(best area to stay night before boarding because of hotels, restaurants)

On our last few cruises we were told ice was only filled upon request.

We always tip our Room Steward the day we meet him/her on boarding day. We always ask for ice 2xday,and extra towels,so a 10 spot on day 1 ,seems fair to us after all the upfront requests.

Our last 5 cruises were out of Bayonne on the Anthem,in January. We are finally getting to go again this coming January. We love this time of year to cruise, like Tlbecker1 posted, less kids, more adults!

Absolutely, the Server will take your sea pass card just like at any bar and charge accordingly,0 charge if you have the DDP.

Chocolate Cokes at land-based Johnny Rockets is my favorite and they were available on our last Anthem cruise in 2020!Hopefully they still are for our Anthem cruise in January.
-
Found a little travel safe that is just big enough for our 2cell phones ,small wallet that holds our cash(for tips)and, sea pass cards. It has a cable long enough to hook around our lounge chairs and then lock with a combination lock. It’s also great at the beaches ! Love it !

The vaccination cards have to be laminated?
-
I feel kinda dumb, but I don’t know what a casitas is, can someone explain and are they on all RCCL ships?
