Which date are you sailing? I ended up going with an OV guarantee and haven't got my assignment yet for the 14th Sept.

We did a inside guarantee for the fascination and we were assigned an ocean view! Leaving on the 20th so excited

We are cruising out of JAX a week from Thursday and I think this looks like a good deal

I couldn't find this on either the faq page or on their FB. Did they remove it?

I called the resort and they said as of now that are not offering the day passes because of occupancy being so high

We took a taxi to a family beach. (Don't remember the name - I would have to search past posts). We paid $5 for a beach chair. There was a "hut" which had clean restrooms and served drinks and snacks. It was not fancy but a nice beach for relaxing.

Do you remember how much the cab ride was?

I need ideas on what to do in Freeport the resort we were going to is not offering day passes anymore and I don't have a back up plan. Please help!!!

The FAQ page and a comment on Facebook are showing a change. For the time being no day passes. Below is the Facebook comment.

 

 

 

Grand Lucayan Unfortunately at this time, day passes are unavailable until further notice. I hope that we have them come September, but currently, our resort is almost fully booked and part of our property is under renovation. Is it worth the $50 for only 4 days?

I am doing more research and I breezes also looks like a good one to go to

We are going to be in Nassau on Saturday August 22nd from 8-5.

I wanted to see out of these two resorts which one most everyone preferred.

Do you have to get this day pass ahead of time or can you just walk there once we are in port? What else is included any water sports like snorkeling or kayaks?

To answer your question, no I have not booked thru Verizon for a cruise. I had talked to my husband about possibly doing this. We felt like too many things could go wrong, as booking thru Carnival PVP or TA it would be easier to correct any possible problems, IMHO.

That is my fear as well our cruise is for the 20th of this month so not a lot of time to make changes

All the gift cards are sold out but the price of the cruise its self if almost $100 cheaper on the Verizon smart rewards website

Has anyone booked a cruise using Verizon smart rewards? I have only book on the carnival website so I am nervous. I would love to hear if you have had a good or bad experience with this.

My cousin and his gf were going on a cruise in 4 weeks and she now tells him she can't go. How much will it cost him to get her out of his cabin and put someone else in?

How do you find a good TA?

We are going to book a cruise for this August just waiting on the hubby's bonus money to come in this month :) we were wondering if we should use a PVP or just book it ourselves. What if any are the perks to using a PVP?? Thank you in advance for you advice!! [emoji3]

We are going on a 4 day cruise out of Jacksonville and our two stops are Freeport from 12p-7p and Nassau 8am-5pm.

We will have 4 people all adults.

We are looking for fun cheap stuff to do in both ports.

I went on a cruise in December and still have my broken foot I was on crutches, when we arrived at MIA I was asked by an employee if I would like a wheelchair and of course I said yes and was wheeled over to the special assistance area and was given a number to board. They started calling numbers for people to board and the special assistance people I think are the last to board somewhere in there. I didn't want to wait since we had FTTF so I got out of the wheelchair and and back on my crutches and got on board myself but they will help you, email carnival and they can email you links to companies you can rent a wheelchair from
