Morrush Posted September 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Hi, we have 3 quad rooms booked side by side on the jewel as part of a large extended family booking. Just wondering if p&o mind if we occasionally bring one mattress from one of the rooms to put on the floor of a other room next door? The kids are all talking about having sleepovers with their cousins, which would mean there would be 1 adult and 4 kids in a room some nights.Do they mind if we do this? Scottygirl1 Posted September 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2017 They legally can't have more than 4 in a room so I doubt this would be OK. Perhaps phone the customer service line and ask?
wagtail_syd Posted September 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 8, 2017 Not a good idea. Firstly I suspect it would against some kind of fire/safety regulations. I also don't think they will want you carrying a mattress around the ship in case it gets dirty or damaged plus will be getting in other people's way. It will also make more work for your already very busy cabin steward. I guess you could enlist their help (if allowed) and then give an extra big tip at the end to thank them. Alternatively could the kids kids can take turns sleeping in each others room a few at a time?
Bizziecruzer Posted September 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2017 Get the kids to "top n tail" no need for mattress moving then. Also there's, not much room to put in an extra mattress.
austraveller Posted October 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2017 we've pushed single beds together and they're huge. I think sleepovers are ok (well they dont know anyway right?) but moving furniture into other cabins will probably be stopped.
Gerko Posted November 8, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2017 Just be thoughtful of your nearby cabins as kids on a sleepover can be pretty noisy. Try to have the sleepover in that middle cabin and remember there are cabins opposite as well as alongside.
