AnOnymously Posted December 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2017 There are several threads on here for Pullmantur and it is not easy to find information from scattered threads. Many posters have complained that it is difficult to find information about the cruise line. With specialist agents both in US and UK now marketing Pullmantur and with the scattered present threads is it time for a Pullmantur forum to be created on Cruise Critic? That would also enable English speaking passengers to easily find their roll call and that would be very helpful for booking excursions as Pullmantur guarantee English speaking guides on a percentage of their tours and also when more that 10 English speakers book an excursion. glittergal1 Posted December 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2017 it would be a good idea . We are booked on horizon for February and finding info and up to date pictures and video has been difficult
bill21 Posted December 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2017 Recently there has been a lot of interest generated in the Pullmantur cruise line. Hopefully cc will sit up and take heed. Im thankful for all the information tips advice and photos posted on the various boards by past and even current Pullmantur cruisers. To have all this grouped together would be so much easier for all concerned...So come on cc please oblige.
PaulnKarl Posted December 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 18, 2017 I agree. The first time we booked Pullmantur it was a challenge to find information on CC. We're returning to the Zenith in March
CalebMonroe Posted December 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2017 I agree as well. I traveled TA last year on Monarch and going on another west to east on Zenith. Be nice to have a specific site.
AnOnymously Posted January 3, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted January 3, 2018 I wonder if there is a formal way to apply. There is certainly a good deal of activity now that agents are seriously marketing this line in both US and UK.

DaveinCharlotte Posted February 1, 2018 #14 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Ive sent an email to the address given below asking for a new forum , I dont know if its one to use ? ive had no reply yet ...Community Manager at: community@cruisecritic.com I too wrote to this contact (Jan 28). Like AnOnymously and others posting in this thread, I find it frustrating trying to find information about an "Other Cruise Line" when the information is scattered across many threads. (In my case it is Vantage and other cruise lines, not Pullmantur, I'm looking for -- but the problem is the same.) I asked: What is the criteria that governs when CC "promotes" a cruise line to the Cruise Lines list. I pointed out that Virgin Voyages, which was just added to the Cruise Lines list, didn't seem to have many threads and posts. (Fewer than Vantage, and, I'll bet, Pullmantur.) So if the criteria is not activity, what could it be? Have had no response yet.

DaveinCharlotte Posted February 2, 2018 #16 Share Posted February 2, 2018 That's what I was thinking. Am starting to correlate the cruise lines whose ads appear on the side of these pages versus the cruise lines who appear in the coveted "Cruise Lines A-Z" section. AnOnymously Posted March 4, 2018 Author #21 Share Posted March 4, 2018 Still no response, but I have to say that Trip Advisor seems to cover Pullmantur better than CC. I will probably only publish my review there.
Anonymocoso Posted March 12, 2018 #22 Share Posted March 12, 2018 Yes, I would like a Pullmantur forum. I would love to practice my Spanish while I cruise. According to the vacations to go site, there is no schedule for the Sovereign after November and nothing scheduled from Barcelona in 2019. Is Pullmantur Sending The Sovereign To Live On A Farm? Is the 2019 schedule on hold because of the Catalan independence movement? Or does Royal Caribbean not want Americans like me on Pullmantur because they want us spending more money on Celebrity, RCL or Azamara?
Anonymocoso Posted March 12, 2018 #23 Share Posted March 12, 2018 Still no response, but I have to say that Trip Advisor seems to cover Pullmantur better than CC. I will probably only publish my review there. When I click on the "cruises" section of Tripadvisor, my browser goes to cruise critic.
Anonymocoso Posted March 13, 2018 #24 Share Posted March 13, 2018 I sent an E Mail to a cruise agency we are not allowed to name and they wrote back quickly: thanks for writing! I'm afraid we have not yet received complete information from Pullmantur for 2019 cruises. If you would like me to remind you when 2019 itineraries become available, please let me know. Best wishes! Sincerely, Alan Fox Chairman & CEO The Agency We Are Not Allowed To Name
