The Budge Posted April 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2018 Cruising on the Pacific Dawn in June and would like to know what they charge for wine, beer, cocktails and premium coffees. The prices for their drink packages are really way over the top compared to other cruises we've been on. The searches I have done so far have found information on prices from a fews back. The Budge Posted April 17, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted April 17, 2018 Thanks a lot for your reply. I am tending to think the drink packages are over priced. Definitely dearer than Princess and Royal Caribbean.
Scottygirl1 Posted April 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2018 Thanks a lot for your reply. I am tending to think the drink packages are over priced. Definitely dearer than Princess and Royal Caribbean. How much are the drink packages? On our three day cruises we can't get a drink package so it solves the problem. We tend to buy wine by the bottle at around $30 and take back to our room. When out and about we got a cocktail and maybe another beer or wine but overall found the cost to be OK. At dinner we would order a bottle of wine, have a glass each and then take the bottle with us back to our room!

sweetp12 Posted April 18, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 18, 2018 There is also no tip required - so the price is the price not the price + 20%
Scottygirl1 Posted April 18, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 18, 2018 There is also no tip required - so the price is the price not the price + 20% Do you mean if you buy a drink there is not tip? Just clarifying - yes there is no gratuity added on P&O cruises or other cruises out of NZ or Australia. The price you see is the price you pay unlike cruises overseas.
