Pearl Harbor and Luau

I know I'm posting a lot of similar questions, just trying to figure out what to do one island at a time. We don't go till the November, but planning is key. So for Oahu we have decided on Pearl Harbor and a Luau. I read Paradise Cove is a great choice. They will shuttle us from a hotel (can't remember name), but it's about a 15 minute cab ride from the ship. So in the morning we can taxi, Uber or rent a car to Pearl Harbor then back to ship, change and take transportation to that hotel. Many of you all say it would be cheaper to get a car? But we are not really going to be driving around Oahu except to PH and the luau. I haven't mapped it out to see the distances and cost of getting a car as opposed to using a taxi or Uber. We do not want to mess with the bus.
