Wheelchair Tendering

Will depend on your cruise line and their tenders, the choppiness of the water and where the tenders come in. On our last celebrity cruise, there were several wheelchairs but at the last minute, decision made too risky for the transfer to the tender. Crew have to carry the chairs down so be aware of that. There were also steps here and there in and out of the tender. There was a ramp at the dock but the return tender we took did not leave from there. If you cannot get out of your chair and manage at least a step or two with assistance, I rather doubt you will be able to make it.
