skeldergate Posted May 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2018 Four weeks to go until our first ever cruise. Hopefully we will just be leaving Venice at this point.... We are departing on Costa Luminosa. I have a question about food. I know that the restaurant is open 7am-9am, 12pm-2pm, 7pm-9pm (or thereabouts). Is food available (within the cost of the cruise) outside of these times ? So, for example, on day one, we board at 2pm. Our evening meal is 7pm. Can we expect free food (of some sort) before the evening meal? I' just wondering if we ought to eat in Venice before boarding. Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance Hi On boarding day there is usually food in the buffet till 4pm and then afternoon tea till 5pm. The latter will be filled buns, cakes, cookies and usually fruit. There will be tea and coffee unless costa has changed that since the beginning of April. We are cruising from 22/5. I'll try and post when I am in ports. tenpin Posted May 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2018 Just to add to Alicats post, if you are in a premium cabin you can order room service for standard fare at any time.
